I made a challenge for myself to review 365 mapping videos throughout the year. I chose yours more than a week ago. I watched most of the videos and I'd like to give my final thoughts here. Overall, I don't like it. I think it's a bad series. Someone might enjoy its unserious, simple, unrealistic plot but I for sure can't. I felt like I was watching an AFOE but with modified borders. It uses liberal, contemporary concepts which would never fit in an early modern setting like nationalism, referendums and frontline warfare. The "humorous" bits were annoying and unfunny. There is no interconnected and consequential storyline; things mostly just happened. For example, HRE collapsing has barely left a dent on Europe, and states like Hungary did nothing to fulfill the power vacuum that was left after the Ottoman's failings. Though I can say that your mapping is improving. War frames are well-animated most of the time, and dialogue has become way better in this episode. Though Byzantium losing their marbles came out of nowhere and it could've been touched upon more during the course of the series. Good luck in your future projects!
Thanks a lot! I appreciate your honest review and the time you took to watch this series. I'll try to improve my series based off your criticism and wish you a wonderful day.
Imagine getting pinned by your fav mapper 😁
Imagine it happened:)
Yay the best Mapper is about to drop a masterpiece!
you have got to be kidding me, Does Byzantium have anger issues or what, they even changed their flag
you could call it that
Byzantium broke the chill guy mode
Polska Krew na Międzynarodowej ziemii
Good Luck GiT 🔥
Byzantine empire more like angrytine empire
Byzantine comeback arc when
Did Byzantium changed Emperor or just stress from Cyrenaica? First one would make more sence bc of his sudden change of mood and anger.
good question tbh
2:29 sure looks a lot like macedonia…
Soo are you going to change Sicily's flag or not (not that I want you to, just want to know if you will)
i may have forgotten
