Very beautiful ... I managed to make 2 leaves and got halfway through one rose, and have to put down now - the stitches and the hook are soo fine for me that my strongest glasses are still not quite good enough, my 60 yr old eyes have gone blurry 🤓. Have you tried using a lamp/magnifying glass combo? If it weren't for that, I would not have been able to crochet something so tiny, either.

Your work is stunning thanks. When you cut the Metal to form the earring, how do you make sure it is not sharp when putting in the ear please. 🥰

If it gets sharp after cutting, then rub the metal with some other tool, so that it would be fine.
If it became an issue, a fingernail file would probably work (unless you already have actual files).

I too was having this problem, not being able to understand just how many chains to start with for the rose...I continued to watch the video and figured it out by counting the total number of petals made ...so, you need to start with 30 chains +3 I hope this is helpful! It is a beautiful pattern, Thank you "Sure It" for sharing! :)
