  • This carpet was as satisfying to clean as it was to watch. When i found it, it was covered in mud, insects and even had grass growing out of it.
    Underneath all this though was a beautiful rug and the transformation was a miricle.
    I hope you enjoy this satisfying video.

    I must be losing it...Here I am with popcorn, sitting on a couch, watching this video, getting philosophical about a carpet getting clean. Tearing up thinking how that dirty carpet is like a lot of us, needing a ton of scrubbing and rinsing, over and over again, on the inside/outside, to look brand new, just like that carpet, Lol. I must be getting old, Lol. Anyway, Awesome job, I would have never guessed that carpet was as beautiful looking, when it was first seen...makes you wonder about life.....oh boy, there I go again, Lol.

  • @kalli-ope
    @kalli-ope 2 ปีที่แล้ว +54

    These videos are so satisfying. My favourite part is the "hose under the rug" cleaning - it first looks like most of the dirt is already gone, but then the water gets squeezed out and you realize that all the previous steps removed the visible surface grime and loosened the deep sitting dirt so that it can get flushed out now. Also: Why do people put cream-coloured rugs outside? If you want a carpet outside (which I think is a weird decision in the first place, but you do you), why not use a dark rug from the start instead of staining a beautiful, bright one? But on the other hand: More nice cleaning videos for us this way. :-)

    • @MountainRugCleaning
      @MountainRugCleaning  2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Exactly, i dont care what coloured rug they use outside, But the lighter coloured ones are far more satisfying to clean.

      I know this probably wasn't the case, but some people use old rugs from inside their houses to "smother out" stubborn weeds, or to keep weeds from re-sprouting in an area they've previously dug out or tilled. 🤷‍♀️

      Over the winter, we can't park in the street in my town. Our van has a slow leak, and my husband doesn't want to get the driveway stained. We spent a little money and bought a new rug from Walmart to park over. Granted, it isn't a real light color. It's reds and creams, and currently it is over weeds growing around a small tree I planted. It is serving the purpose we got it for, but if we ever decide to bring it in for the intended purpose, it will have to be cleaned thoroughly.

    1: You give these rugs another chance to be used. If you didn’t do this job, these rugs would be thrown away by now.

    4: the before and afters on the rugs! 😳😳😳
