Never chase a flush on a paired board one of the best pieces of advice I ever got from an old school poker head.
this will save me money
You can but the price has to be way right and you have to be prepared to fold you only have 6 outs vs 9
That's a lesson I had to learn the hard way...I.meam expensive way
Mine is a snap call on a large bet usually means a big draw.
Yes ... in PLO ...
When you play poker for a living and move up in stakes there’s always going to be those monumental hands that let you know how prepared you are for the next level. This was one of them
Such an underbluffed spot, but in a tough game like this with such capable players its hard to lay down the nut flush. Its very hard to find bluffs though, your opponent has to be CRAZY, im not 100% sure how action dan plays. Against 95% of the poker players you got an easy lay down
I’m just here for Anastasia 😍
she is pretty hot
That snap check on the flop should’ve been reanalyzed
Or the river for that matter
I mean he checked in flow.
Juanda had trips
You mean "TWIPS" ???
I play PLO sometimes and 1 thing you learn.
When the Board is paired look out. Such a hard spot. But me i fold. Save myself some $$$
"I coulda folded"... dude is me
Thanks a great hand. ✌🏻👊🏼
If you watched the whole stream....Hook got took to the cleaners for a LOT of money. I hope he's independently wealthy and can absorb such massive losses.
considering he just played in the hustler million dollar game i think he has the money
@@101Meeko101 How'd he do? Seems like a good dude and I hope he wins some of it back. Can gambling losses be tax deductions?
@@recoilrob324
Gambling Losses
An individual can deduct gambling losses only to the extent of his or her gambling winnings included in gross income ( Code Sec. 165(d); Reg. §1.165-10). For tax years beginning before 2026, gambling losses for this purpose include any deduction otherwise allowed to the taxpayer in carrying on a wagering transaction (for example, travel expenses). Deductible gambling losses are generally reported by the individual as a miscellaneous itemized deduction not subject to the two-percent-of-adjusted-gross-income floor (when that limit is applicable) ( ¶1095). A professional gambler reports gambling income and losses on Schedule C (Form 1040). Married individuals who file a joint return can combine their gambling winnings and losses.
Gambling losses are deductions, strictly against your portion of income that was derived from gambling.@@recoilrob324
@@recoilrob324he lost his shirt on the mill Hustler night but it’s all tax deductible so he came out ten bob better off than what he started
This is the reason why hook, folded a straight to Texas mikes bluff on HCL
Given the title of the video…you know instantly that he calls the river lol. Don’t even have to watch the end after he bets all in.
damn, hook got max pained
i think KdQd is an easier fold than something like Td9d because ur blocking bluffs (KdJ or QdJ that block full houses and strong flushes)
This. I think that precisely KQdd is a fold here. Having KTdd, you might have to close your eyes and call against someone as capable as Action Dan. But having _both_ the Kd and Qd in your hand is probably the worst-case scenario.
Amazing check on the river by Dan. Took all Hook's money because of it.
That'll bluff out
I'd fold the flush there. I don't see any way Dan bluffs that sizing in this spot. Action Dan has done some crazy stuff at the table but that would be really insane.
15" POKER HAAAAARRRRDDD
Action Dan’s check on the river was waaay strong
You mean check-raise all in, right?
@@michaelg4664 yeah but the initial check right after the river was way too quick for him to have anything but the nuts
Ouch.
Easy when you can see the cards I know but I think that is just a pretty trivial fold. I know Action Dan has heart and is creative but what is he landing on that river with that he is then turning into a bluff when Hook goes bet, bet, bet? Even if you completely discount black AA (4bets) and pocket 6s /pocket 3s (folds flop), Action Dan has three combos of JJ, two combos of AJs, two combos of A3s and two combos of A6s suited that all play that way. I dont know why the commentator thinks he cant have A3 or A6. It would make perfect sense for him to go call flop / call turn with 'weak' trips and then shoving when he made the boat.
He’s implying that most players don’t call the pre flop raise with A3 or A6
Seems like an easy fold. 2 flats and an all in, dude has a boat here almost always with an Ax hand.
Some people just don’t know when to fold
I'm thinking holding Kd actually could have decided the fold for him
Tough game - I don't think so. Over half just rich fish IMHO.
When you start folding flushes in high stakes hands. It would have been a very tough fold but he could have as he didnt have the nuts. For sure Dan had the Ace......or a jack pocket jacks. I could have read this
Dont think Dan would have jammed all in. Thats too risky for a bluff.
Hard to find a bluff on this river.
Nasty
The amount of money won was in inverse proportion to the chit chat from the players.
Not a tuff day but poor choices!
Calling station donated again.
There’s no bluffs. Maybe kQ hearts? Idk.
SLOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW ROLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Attaboy Action Dan!!😤❤️..thank God it’s not Mr. Snuffleupagus🐘 who won that hand or else it’s non~stop bragging of his delusionsl self!!😒
Easy fold
Yes but I can tell your a NIT
I don’t care about the money what’s the dealers name
I’d have folded on the basis that the board is paired. Loses to lots of hands. Pocket 3s, 6s, Js, etc.
The only person I’d call making that all in is Nik.
Dan was always gonna have it.
You think pocket 3s or 6s are calling the flop bet?
Easy fold .....lose against...aj jj a6 a3 66.....33.......
I dont think airball knows how to not talk all the time. i skip most videos with him in them lol
Cry more fish
Pay off Wizard
ez fold
smh
Can we stop using other peoples poker nick names? Ive now seen the name "Action Dan" and the "Mad Genius" being used, both of which are poker hall of famers. This isnt online where you can steal people ideas willy nilly. Use your own original nick name
Yes DonTrump! Well thought out that one 🌭
@@twiz1084 Hypocrisy is their strong suit ...
@@twiz1084 Wow youre off the charts on !diot scale if you think a youtube handle is the same as a poker nickname. That and you cant write a GD complete sentence. So cringe
Totally
@@twiz1084it is online though…
Nobody get away with nut flush…
If double pair on board you might fold
Nothing more annoying then hearing people talk In the background with this type of situation
Just watched Hook on the million doller game at hustler........not very good. Come to think of it, action Dan torched everything as well. Monkey tilt
