I play vaporwave radio almost every day at work and i don't give a damn what someone might thing but i especially like the moment someone notice a jam and starts moving... its all about that special moment people just let go.
Vaporwave is all about making fun of the fact that we can't let go of the past. The music, and all the effort behind it, is really just a mask of a deeper psychological repression. The deeper I get into this aesthetic, the more it becomes painfully clear: It just isn't how it was.
@@damarideadass8305 No. It's gone. All we can do now it make something different for the future. We only romanticize the past because the present feels unsatisfactory. Let's focus on that.
Seems like your too much of a futurist to appreciate Vaporwave You’re not the first throughout the years who said something like this Not saying you’re inherently wrong but its a mute point
@@CaliIzActive It's not a moot point. Vaporwave's nostalgic mood does not come from the abstract. It is a postmodern reinterpretation of 80s and 90s media culture that evokes a sense of longing or melonchonia for an illusory past ( most Vaporwave fans are millenials or Gen-Z). It just isn't how it was, and we can't accept that fact so we construct a "better" past to justify our evasion of the present. That's why we love Vaporwave. It is a comfort and a dream.

Eu tenho uma falsa lembrança escutando essa música. Lembro que eu estava passando pela Avenida Brasil nos anos 90 a noite escutando rádio FM e estava tocando essa música 🥺
Playing this track in my 1989 Nissan Stanza while sitting in a dark cold empty parking lot lighting up that first joint after working my 2nd shift job.
And after so much time... here we are again. This time, work hits hard and one can only think on a good rest. Driving for countless hours, making the mobile phone network function properly and trying to cope with life... dear lord life hits hard
I was just going to say that I was 13 when Dukakis was running against George Bush in 1988. I had also came back from Germany with my family. Man, I'm getting old!
I’m kinda done with it all ig. With what’s going on and shit, I just need to take a slow chilling breather with this ambient vibe. I feel as if I lived a past life also I want to go back in time and just stay in that time period forever
I have my heart broken. This is not precisely what I wanted to listen to. However, Vaporwave always calms my soul. I just wanna say that I hope she's ok. I hope she'll read this and know that I have good wishes for her.

I played this at my school and people didn’t really like it, but that’s cause they have bad music tastes. This is truly a work of art
Apparently they don’t
MaximusX45-1911 Maybe they left it at home with their checkered socks and their brightly coloured laces.
From my experience, show them a video with the song, it makes people more curious
It's amazing my G 💯
