    Love all the jointers you got mate. I knew there were a few pointing tools..but not 3 tool boxes worth😂 I'm currently using a nice bit of timber to flush up some brickwork...I'd love to see what other tools you got knocking about..even your old trowels would be interesting 👍👍😊

      Will all happen in time thanks Izzy, I collected vintage trowels for some years ,I really need to do a vid on them but it would be long and quite intense with the history etc.

    Used to use the barrel jointers and the standard marshalltowns and a rose, now I use the dingers. I won’t look back they’re amazing

    Just found your videos. I'm here in the states and I've done a lot of grape vine joints over the years. Also I think everyone should have an assortment of slickers. Good stuff, keep the videos coming. 👍

      You need patience and a steady hand, there is quite a lot to know with pigmants and mixes, l learnt the basics in Australia years ago.

    Hi there, ive got a old pointing trowel that ive had for years always wondered why it has a sguared off top its a normal trowel 3 inch blade but the top is squared dont look as if its been worn this shape. Any ideas?? Thanks.

    • @bricklayersworldwithandy6277
      @bricklayersworldwithandy6277  ปีที่แล้ว

      Couldnt tell you exactly but i did that once to a pointing trowel as i thought it might give a better finish to weather struck pointing but it didnt work it rippled the joint.Ive seen lots of old trowels over the years which have been fashioned into different shapes for whatever reason maybe benching manholes.
