SINGING ARE ENCOURAGE IN THE PHILIPPINES BECAUSE THEY CAN BETTER HANDLE PROBLEM WHEN THEY ENCOUNTER IT AND ALSO THEY LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH AND READING.
In our country the Philippines, English is our second language. Back then, we were under the American occupation. But, our great grandparents can speak Spanish having existed during the Spanish period in the Philippines. In our generation, it's English that we are comfortable with. So, singing English songs??? It's easy.☺️
Imagine nursery (5y/o) to high school graduation 16 (16y/o) singing our national anthem daily five times a week every morning... Thats why it improves... But some like me is proud to be a pilipino only...😂😂😂
We were encouraged to sing as a way to express ourselves at a young age. My Uncle who I always sang with use to say that "There is a song for every emotion, every mood and every occasion."
Music drives the hatred away. Even after a weather catastrophe, the Filipino still has a time to sing, and help each other thru' that's how resilient we are. Truly just satisfied with little of what we have. No time to complain, just do the best that you can to overcome hardships, we are not entitled!!! Rocio you'll love the Philippines thru it's people. If you come to our country, you'll learn how to be human and down to earth!!!
IKR 😂😂 cooking, washing clothes, whatever household chores you do, Filipinos are singing. Best part is, every single house has a music studio, the "CR"
Thank you for appreciating our unknown kids singers in our country Philippines. I meet a lot of foreigners and most of them asking me why mostly very young children here in the Philippines can speak and understand English.I told them maybe because we Filipinos are fun of singing. We have to understand what the words means as we sing any kind of songs in order for us to feel ,own and nail the song. Thank you so much and GOD BLESS.
FYI.. the kid who sang DANCE WITH MY FATHER was evenly invited to sing in Ellen Degeneres show in US! Really hope you can one day come and visit the Philippines one day as you will never have culture shock as our country was colonized by Spain for more than 300 years. Also.. until 1950's, spanish is our national language then.
The name of the boy that sing Dance with myFather is Aldrich the song got viral so he was feature in the Ellen The Generes Show in America watch the video in full just type Aldrich l forgot the surname
I'm a pilipino.....here in the Philippines... singing is just a our expression of our relaxing...time...it just natural in our country.. singing .....thank you for promoting our beloved country and us... pilipino....
RC, believe me, i live in the PH province and hear it every night. A young boy singing that annoys me with his singing, i can tell that he has improved due to practice. I can sleep much better at night because of that. God bless him for trying so hard. Thanks for appreciating these kids raw talent in music. God bless
The video where the kid was singing Dance with My father went viral. Ellen saw it and invited the cousins to perform the song on her show. Prior to travelling to the Ellen show, the father passed away due to non hodgkin's lymphoma. That's why Ellen said that the song was MORE MEANINGFUL to the kid because of the passing of his dad. Kid's name is Aldrich Talonding and cousin is James. They sing in their church.
Every village, town and city in the Philippines have their fiestas and there's 3 mainstays in the festival. Singing contest, boxing bouts and basketball tournaments.
Thank you for this reaction video. Yes, you’re right. Amateur singing contests for kids and adults are popular all over the country. Many of them want to join singing contests on national TV. Our mainstream media have daily singing contests on free TV.. I am not a good singer but during social gathering, my friends or colleagues expect me to sing even one song during karaoke session. It’s a cultural thing..
Yes the way a kids chills or see her parents to a party, celebration event or this Christmas Carol. All kids has approved to idolized her parents or family member. 😊💖🎅
I have a 15-year granddaughter who loves old songs, songs from the 70's to the 2000's. When I was her age, I loved the songs that my parents loved, too. The boy who sang 'Unchained Melody' for example. He's probably 11 or 12 and he knows a song that was released in 1965.
most kids grows while listening every sundays music was all time goodies from 80s - 90s or even 70s (a whole day most of the FM radios playing standards) mahahasa talaga yung mga bata through listening
@@xinziearusuke4696 yes. I turn the radio on every Sunday because they play songs from the 60's upwards and classic OPM. Sabi nga ng apo ko, there's a story in all of those songs. Her latest favorite is If by Bread.
All filipino people have a talent to sing.. i am proud filipino.. that talent is gift from god .. ❤❤❤ that why many filipino people can sing a lot making of sounds ..
There is a poem that goes "So many a gem, of purest ray unseen, the dark unfathomed caves of ocean bear". Those singing talents are some examples of the poem.
Here in Philippines wherever you go there is always karaoke/videoke. Singing is already part of our daily life wether we are tired, happy or problematic we find time to sing to divert boredom to something joyful.
The first kid is already joining the voice kid PH. The 2nd one had win Pilipinas got talent his name is Ruel Maglangit. 3rd his name is Aldrich and he was invted by Ellen's show with hs guitarist cousin.
Kids in the philippines learn to sing especially when they're at school they must first pray and sing the national anthem "lupang hinirang" then class starts.

i cried i felt the emotions and also all of them in their young age can express real emotions in their songs because we filipinoe are very romantic people and very affectionate since baby we learn it already to our parents . And we passed it to our next family when we are settle down.
I remember when I was a student, our teacher tasked us to perform a musical play for our finals. I was shocked myself 'cause we discovered that 20 out of 32 of us can sing (prob half can actually SING and the rest can at least carry a tune). So yeah, it's not possible to give everyone a contract 'cause it also means giving half of the population contracts 🤣 P.S. I'm one of those who cannot sing, unfortunately. So I played as a leaf 😂😂😂
Our mom hums as we are about to sleep,,,so as we turned one ,,kids can already hum her song too or be able to repeat the ending lyrics... .....on the nursery songs we can already develop the song at that early age..besides we have music subjects in public schools..
for multiple times already in here in our remote city in the Philippines, kids are asking for some coins or food in exchange they will sing for you, and ended up me giving more coz they could give you best experience listening a pro like performance.. and these are kids that grows on the streets trying to survive
We were accustomed to singing even without accompaniment. We sing while cooking and in front of the stove, we sing while husking the floor, we sing in the bathroom and sometimes we sing at work. We sing anywhere whenever we feel like it. Maybe that's the nature of the Filipinos. When we court a girl, we go to their house at night bringing a guitar or someone who knows how to play the guitar and serenade her and there will be singing inside her house throughout the time while we were there. This has been a custom since the time of our ancestors.
The reason why lots of pilipino people is good in singing coz they're happy people inspite of empty stomach inspite of lots problem only music make them relieve.
It is normal here in the Philippines to see people singing in malls where there are stores selling karaoke machines. Most parties here also have singing as part of the party. In our work place sometimes we have singing too.
The boy that sang 'Dance With My Father' his cousin played the guitar, he sang that song and his father recently passed away before he sang that song..
