Sgt. Gee was laid to rest at Arlington cemetery. That is a special honor and you have to be selected to be buried there. The crowds lining the street in her hometown was just unbelievably huge!
That's just a waste going to Arlington when you're from here, your family is here, your friends are here, are they ever going to hop on a plane and fly thousands of miles away just to visit her grave? Nope, not once, they will never ever see her or talk to her ever again, they'll never be able to visit her. I know if I was KIA I'd want to be buried in my hometown, no matter what I did, I don't care if I was awarded the MOH, bury me at home, bury me where my loved ones can sit and tell me about their day, where they can tell me what's going on in their lives,, their job, a new baby in the family, a new marriage, anything. And yes, I know I won't be able to hear them, but if you actually say that, it just shows how much of a troll you really are, I know it comforts me when I go talk to my dad, or my mom, or my grandparents, I'll sit there on the grass and just have a conversation with them like they were still here, I get a good cry out, but most importantly, it's like they never left, I still remember everybody vividly, aunts, uncles, cousins, I can see their face, I can hear their voice, I can remember moments, Christmas, Thanksgiving, I still remember turning 12 on Nov 2 1980 while my great grandmother turned 88, she was gone 2 months later, but I remember everything about her. I like the fact that I can visit my grandfather's parents, the full blooded Italians, THEY were immigrants, even though I was never able to meet them in person, I can visit my grandmother's parents, her father who I never met, just saw a picture of him, or her brother who died in Korea, they're all here, I can visit them anytime I want, but I couldn't do it if they were buried at Arlington. Yes, I know it's prestigious to be buried at Arlington, and I'm not knocking who is buried there, I'm saying they should have buried her in Roseville, not 2,712 miles away.
Sgt. Nicole Gee was a hero and inspiration to everyone she ever met. She was taken from us to soon! May she continue to Rest In Peace. Sending my continued prayers to her family and the 12 other families who lost someone that terrible day. God bless. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️

I normally would not respond to political messages during these times, but 6564yankess you are correct, each democrat with-in my voting area of Phoenix Arizona, state, local, county and federal will be getting fired in 2022!! That said, I lost a sister in uniform though I served before she was born. What a beautiful soul, such a caring woman, I am praying for her husband, family and Marine Corps Family. I was Air Force, but none the less you were taught to leave no man behind, Now the honor of our nation has been stained because of the people left behind including Afghan's that wanted out and our 13 Heroes whom gave everything!!!
