NAMASTE..🙏🙏 I am an Indian..and this video really helps to understand the concept.. I will surely advice this video to my fellow batchmates Thanku soo much
Hi. Have you seen the current waec chemistry practical 2022 instruction to teachers? People are not sure whether it will be Iodimetric or iodometric. How can you know from the instructions given from waec, whether it will be Iodimetric or iodometric titrations. Thanks.
Thanks for watching sir/ma. The video is not a waec video. Its only compares two kinds of redox titrations. We hope the comparism was sufficient to distinguish between the kinds of titration.
@@tegamatics Yes it was. Crystal clear. Was thinking there's away one can guess whether it will be Iodimetric or iodometric since both titrations make use of same reagents. I guess it will better to teach the students both since the examiner will be the one to determine which one to be the titrant ( in burette). Thanks.
Beautiful!!! I am learning from you....If not for your lessons I would have only known of the most common iodine titration i.e Iodometric titration..... Thanks for this....most textbooks hammer on Iodometry and talk less of iodimetry
sir, there is a mistake at 8:47 chart In iodimetry, iodine is in the burette and the reducing agent is titrated by "standard" iodine solution. In Iodometry, Na2S2O3 is in the Burette and iodine (liberated) is titrated by the reducing agent.
