@@KaptainKubaI mean, we saw a glimpse of Artemis in God of War 1 and several references to Apollo throughout the series. Yet, they were nowhere to be seen in God of War 3. So, hopefully we get to see them if that’s the case.
That thing about humans powering Gods would be very weird, since Kratos doesn't get weaker after Zeus kills Sparta. In fact he gets stronger after the last Spartan dies, or it would be a major retcon, since Atlas said that the battle between the Titans and Gods is what shaped the mortal realm. Not saying it can't work, or that they give a damn about "lore", but there's that.
Those souls still existed in the underworld, now there is no God keeping the souls inside they could still exist as wandering ghosts. Plus kratos had the power of Hope already so even if he wasn't being worshipped he was still getting a major buff
It was just speculation from Spartan officers. In practice we have seen that the destruction of Athens didnt weaken Athena, nor did the sinking of Atlantis diminish Poseidon. It is established that worship through prayers and sacrifices certainly appeases the Gods, maybe it adds some power but loosing that worship isnt critical.
I think that the idea of the remaining Greek gods moving to other mythologies, such as Egypt for example, would be interesting, as Kratos or Atreus would meet them by coincidence, and they might have moved to other mythologies in order to warn them and turn them against Kratos
Hey Cap❗ I just had an apifany , I after watching this vid, I went back to play God of war the first one. I got to thinking about the humans, & the other Gods & as if out of nowhere I'm playing the game and I've just gotten out of hell by a brick and a rope. The brick and the rope 🤔(Egypt)? The old black man with dreadlocks who disappears as out of thin air & the shocking apifany that I've just watched this vid & it hits me in the face with what the black man says after Kratos asks him"WHO ARE YOU"? And the black man says "IT'S NOT IMPORTANT WHO I AM, ATHENA ISN'T THE ONLY GOD WATCHING OVER YOU SPARTAN.👀😱 OMG like EGYPT HAS BEEN WATCHING ALL THIS TIME🤔⁉️ A smooth come back. This is so big, it tightens most if not ALL avenues of possibilities of the next move for the franchise. And we know Corey, what's his thing⁉️ You know it come on think it's right there, get it? It was right there all along in your face in part one❗👀😱 In Egypt Corey can Easily put the old black guy in Egypt, & here's where it gets even crazier. Egypt is the land of the mythical FOUNTAIN OF LIFE😍😱😍😍😍🙄😱
In one of the games that did talk about him, having another daughter In one of the old game but she was cut out.Maybe bringing her back.A meeting with half brother would be a good idea that can be a potential companion for him
I like the idea of Atreus find Artemis (the lady spinhx version) wounded, then treat her. In every interaction we got bonding and find out She is outer God and in mission to find her ex-lover and give a proper punishment to him for his deeds and when Atreus ask about her ex- lover, maybe he could help her. She said, " he was God of war in our place, his is name is Kratos" Atreus got silenced. Artemis said, " You know him, do you?"
It'd be cool if Kratos came back to Greece, and during the time he was gone, Greece rebuilt and was taken over by the Romans, and the greek gods that remained changed their names to the Roman ones, with new gods replacing the ones Kratos killed. A new Zeus in the form of Jupiter.
Id love to see Kratos son going back to greek and finding out about his dads past It would be so amazing Also seeing characters we didnt see in the original series
Another idea for Artemis could be that she went into hiding in egyot during Kratos rampage. Like the greek gods did, when Typhon rocked up. If they decide to go to egypt next, it may be a cool reveal that Bastet is Artemis (the greeks actually explained the egypt gods that way, so it may be a nod to that).
My personal theory is that Kratos will sneak back to Greece to see if it has truly recovered after what happened and he will find the Roman empire now in control of Greece while it's ruled by the Roman gods while the remaining Greek gods have either been killed, been given positions throughout their pantheon or just left the country to explore the world. That last one was actually speculated to have been the fate of Artemis who left Olympus as soon as she saw what was happening to Zeus. It's possible that despite not showing hostility Kratos might get into a fight with some of the Roman gods out of a sense of paranoia because of what he did to their Greek counterparts.
She’s presumed to be alive. I will say she is not in mythology though. There is a Theras that was a descendant of a phoenician ruler and a king of thebes. He founded an island city called Thera
I feel like if calliope ever came back. She would be an antagonist likely working with athena or some other greek god to find and have her revenge on kratos, literally have her in the same position that kratos was in during the greek saga. When you think about it, a lot that has happened to calliope also happened to kratos. -Both were abandoned and even killed by their father(albet by accident in calliopes case, and Kratos came back to life thanks to the titans) -Death of a loved one at their fathers hands. Lysandra in calliopes case and Deimos in Kratos case. I honestly think the idea of calliope coming back as an antagonist who seeks to kill kratos out of revenge like kratos did with zeus would be a really nice concept in a future god of war game. She not only could be the dark reflection of atreus and what he could have turned into if kratos had not changed, but also be an example of the continued cycle of the child killing or fighting their father. First, Cronos and Zeus Then, Zeus and Kratos Now, Kratos and Calliope
Here's an idea: if Aphrodite is meant to become a...servant to the mortals, perhaps there could be a story of her birthing demi-god children who either lead or enslave the mortals; essentially "Neo-Olympus".
There are a characters no one talks about its kratos previous family not just his wife and daughter but also his brother and mother the reason i say this is because we don't know what happened to them after they died we know what happened to his daughter but we don't know about his wife and brother and for his mother in god of war 3 when we get to the underworld we find different notes on the floor that belongs to tortured souls one belongs to the boat captin other belongs to calliope but more importantly one that belongs to mother who talks about her son how she failed him and how death comes to anyone come closer to here son including his wife his child and his brother and in the note she asks hades to punich her in place of her son this note clearly belongs to kratos mother and it is the first ester egg that referenced god of war ghost of sparta in god of war 3
I would love to see Atreus and Calliope meet, but they don't know they both share the same father. Imagine they get to know each other, go on an adventure, but then they find out about each other and all hell breaks loose.
Here's an idea that I've had for awhile for reintroducing the Calliope character in the god of war series. After the fall of Olympus and possible reestablish of the pantheon, perhaps one or the few remaining Greek gods would want revenge on Kratos. And what better weapon to use against him than his own daughter. Trained for years by the Amazons and manipulated by the new pantheon, Calliope would go forth and seek revenge on the father who abandoned her. She would even go so far as to hunt down her own brother in order to find Kratos and the only guarantee the gods have is that Kratos wouldn't dare kill his daughter a second time.
It'd be awkward if Atreus meets Calliope, and more awkward if Atreus meets Kratos and Aphrodite's child 😂 also in the members list, my name was split in 2 different rows, like Manthan Shah Kap, please check if that's an issue
I am sure everyone will like to see Aphrodite back. I do want to see Calliope again, this time all grown up and possibly the best warrior in all of Greece.
There’s also Pan, Dionysius ( God of Wine but could have a Satyr Army!), Nemesis, Nike ( Who could be an Ally!) and a few others in Greek mythology (Maybe Achilles?!? Kratos is thrown into the past to fight him!?! Maybe? 🤔 😎
They could have Calliope as a trained hunter/warrior as who better to kill kratos than his daughter. Following the Greek tradition of children killing their parents and kratos being not able to kill his daughter. He could find himself in the same position, Freya was in in GOW2018 with either atreus or freya saving him.
I'd love to see Artemis in one of these games. She's always been a personal favourite when it comes to Greek gods, and her absence from the Greek-era games has always been a disappointment to me 😟
Does Atreus not know about Kratos first family I thought he was up front after the first game about what happened of course not in massive details but would not keep secrets
Possible: Kratos, now the God of Hope, Freya, Goddess of the Vanir and Valkryie Queen, with Mimir, and Týr are visited by other Pantheon or are invited to a Councel of Gods. We see more Gods and Goddesses and many know of Kratos, as the God-Killer, and are taken aback that he's a God (again), but also a God of Hope. Back and forth ensues, and who's there to make matters worse - Athena building against Kratos changes and credit, and telling the other Gods (especially Gods of War, Wisdom, and king of Gods [like RA]) to distrust Kratos. "He will always be the Ghost of Sparta!"
Well Captain, I think nowadays it is too much to ask for a "Kratos main game", now he needs to have 2-3 NPCs constantly running around and driving the plot
yeah someone commits genocide on your pantheon and of course you are gonna try and find that someone and fight him *The Greek gods are not coming back*
Atreus meeting Calliope and learning about her and Lisandra will change the way he looks at Kratos for sure and it's gonna be an amazing experience for both the og's and the new fans who will learn more about Kratos's previous life
To be honest literally everything kaptain Kuba said in this video gave me another idea for my own videos like kaptain kuba just uploaded a top 10 video ideas for Mournvile 😂😂😂
That was an scraped idea for GoW1 with the $€× minigame. And considering all the minigames across the greek saga, Kratos might get his own _Les Enfants Terribles_ in the future. Kratos is Zeus's son after all...
Honestly if SMS wanted to they could bring back the Greek Gods from the dead by saying that they fought their way out of the Afterlife just like Kratos did whenever he died
Since we know that Atreus is traveling now, maybe he eventually goes to Greece and finally learns of his father's past, which is something I've wanted for ages.
If we do end up going back to Greece, perhaps Apollo could have taken up Helios's station as the new god associated with the sun. This would tie into mythology, and we if we see Artemis again, there's also a possibility of seeing Selene the goddess of the moon.
Good list Cuba it would be cool to see all these characters. I think the ones that I would be super excited to see come back would be Atlas and Calliope mainly due to how much of an interesting story that would make given both their history with Kratos also it wouldn’t surprise me if Kratos has lots of young Spartans running around Greece after all the fun he had in the Greek games and however many more we don’t know about
At the end of ragnarok I felt that Loki should be its new protagonist, or maybe to a spin-off; since kratos story reached a satisfying ending. I've since thought that since the gow focuses in family dynamics, it could be interesting to see Loki having a complicated relationship himself. Imagine Aphrodite having a child with Kratos , a child that grew learning bout his exploits and bloody reputation; a misunderstanding of what Kratos stands for and with his absence learned to idolize him. Or maybe the opposite . Maybe the child detests Kratos for what he did to greece, its gods and its people . He/She could be a great Rival / Villain to contrast Loki.
Yeah the Greek tragedy needs to come back it is much more impactful. All this family cumbia shit is nice but all that bloodshed kratos produced that shit usually will haunt someone forever. They can bring back the trope "once a God you are cursed" kaliopi or a kid with Aphrodite can hate kratos.
I am curious on if we get to see Aphrodite and maybe eos and maybe Apollo because those gods we haven’t seen in a very long time, and of course maybe maybe atriums goddess of the hunt because we technically did see her in the first game.
Do we KNOW that Atreus doesn't know that Kratos killed his first family? Mimir seems to know and we don't see that conversation happen. Kratos tells Freya which we do see happen in ragnarok. Atreus might not know but I don't remember there being anything the says for sure that he either does or doesn't.
He only knows that his father was not always the person he is today, he talks about that with Thrudd in Helheim saying that if he could change maybe Odin too, it was not like that in the end.
I'd like to see Egypt as the comics say that Kratos left Egypt for the Norse Realms due to how annoying Thoth was. Maybe Atreus will get along with Thoth or he'll fight Set I'm glad you mentioned how weird GoW Typhon is compared to mythological Typhon. He's practically an eldritch horror in the original myths, with animal faces coming out of his waist, tentacles, scaly skin, horns, and sometimes his face itself will warp or change, which Rick Riordan took as inspiration for his depiction of Typhon in Percy Jackson
It would be interesting if Aphrodite had gone to Rome to become her counterpart, Venus. Venus, along with love and lust and so on, is also a goddess of war. Rome could be a fun place to tie up some loose ends if it was played out that the gods that fled Olympus were now hiding under their alternate names there.
Make about the Norse Mythology with the Gods,Heroes/Demi Gods and Humans & Creatures that have not yet appeared and are still alive and can be used in the future Wanting revenge mainly on the animals and creatures of the gods and also the Norse Heroes/Demi Gods and the Gods of Asgard themselves of which I counted about 15 Gods who survived to Ragnarok and they didn't appear yet who knows in the future in the next games or next story dlcs Make a video about this 🤔😌👍Like and Bye!
It kinda feels bad to be able to watch kaptain's video before everyone else but it's also kind of fun feels like a video specially made for me Btw kaptain I have uploaded a part 2 of my grave digger video and in that video I have something that might get you to stand up from your seat and scream I swear you'll love that video can you react to it on the bunker as well

Yo imagine kratos got aphrodite pregnant in gow 3 and their bastard son came back to try and kill kratos seeking revenge for the destruction of Olympus Sounds a little similar…
i want kratos to save gods now not kill them so him going back to greece would be amazing teh convos would be amazing between him and the gods that are still alive
I don't know will it or should it even be adressed in series, but is Ares' soul being trapped in Kratos' throne room is still canon? After unlocking one of the phone number, Kratos shows that Ares' soul is being tortured in secret vault in Kratos' throne room. This could lead to so many possibilities, like Ares being freed and wander as a ghost. Also, Lahkesis and Atropos are still alive, plotting revenge on Kratos, as stated by Cory. Could this happen?
I don't really get this obsession about "Aphrodite & Kratos having a kid and lets have some conflict" Why do we want a kid from such a useless, unnecessary encounter? From such a deity like Aphrodite, who has like no integrity.
@@vlad_47 It doesn't even look like shipping trope, more like simping trope. Aphrodite flashes her chest so we want her again that it's. Not that i support people shipping Kratos with Freya or Athena, nor that it makes sense given how Kratos has treated both the women. But atleast they had some meat to the two characters so I understand some people might wanna ship them in certain circumstances. But Aphrodite? It's not shipping it's just simping.
There is no time for this gods appear again.. I think greek gods are not playing anymore any role in future Gow games, except Athena. We will see which way GoW will go but I don't think so they will bring back greek mythology
Here's my thought on the return of Greece, I think they'll return in the Egypt games. Due to the real life Greek influence in Egypt, in which case they'll come back as a potential conquering villains.
I think if they go back to Greece and address the remaining gods it would make sense to have both Kratos and Atreus involved but at some point Atreus and Kratos cross paths and make interesting conversation idk maybe have Freya there as well.
The next 3 games I think should be Atreus going to Japan or China, Kratos going to Egypt and the last both going to Greece together just my thoughts lol
I like the idea of returning to Greece and meeting these characters again and maybe getting some back story on what happened after Kratos left. How the reconstruction started. But I do have a theory as to how Greece was able to be rebuilt after it's cataclysmic fall. One Kratos didn't only give Hope back to humans but to the remaining gods who were still alive. Because like Athena said "They know not what to do with it." Not just indicating Humans. And how exactly did they stop all the cataclysmic destruction? The remaining gods and goddess I think had to take on new roles in order to stop the elements. Such as Triton receding the Sea back to it's original borders with the land and Apollo becoming the new Sun god. Artimas becoming the new Messenger god and so on and so forth. But one goddess decides to take things to a whole new level. Aphrodite becomes the new Queen of the Olympus. She helps in ording the surviving gods into their new roles and in order to help the human race decides that she and other goddesses would mate with human males to make many demigods. And basically make a new race of Demigods whose numbers rise in the hundreds to thousands. Think of Percy Jackson lol. And also having the other gods share knowledge with the demigods. So now they could rebuild Greece in a matter of a few decades rather than a few centuries it would take for regular humans. And this in turn would make Aphrodite the absolute ruler and the villainess for the next GOW
Artemis is more likely, she’s an absolute demon- she turned some dude into a deer and had him ripped apart by her hunting dogs simply because he saw her bathing. Aphrodite never had any offensive powers, even in the real world mythology.
@@ultraviolet540 True Artemis did do that. But think about how vein Aphrodite is as the goddess of love. She literally gets jealous of all other women who are said to be more beautiful than she is. She almost vanished because people started to worship a mortal who was said to be more beautiful than her. She can do what other gods can do, but she's more petty and less creative when it comes to punishments against others. Now think of all of Greece worshiping her as the Queen of Olympus since she helped "rebuild" and that her offsprings of demigods worshiping her. That kind of power and admiration going to her head.
@@AaronBiswas Instead of some remake that no one needs, they could just make a new game between GoW 1 and Ghost of Sparta. Kratos as an Olympian God alongside Zeus etc, would be a gold mine of lore.
@@vlad_47 I will disagree with that tbh. Gow 2 is the best game for story when it comes to greek trilogy. It wouldn't be fair to just let it die on old consoles.

Atreus meeting Calliope and learning about her and Lisandra will change the way he looks at Kratos for sure and it's gonna be an amazing experience for both the og's and the new fans who will learn more about Kratos's previous life
I know! Having them together would offer such an interesting dynamic
To be honest literally everything kaptain Kuba said in this video gave me another idea for my own videos like kaptain kuba just uploaded a top 10 video ideas for Mournvile 😂😂😂
That could end in, how do I put this delicately, "the cycle" continuing?
Wouldn’t he have told him about that during fmblwinter offscreen? Then again neither Atreus or kratos ever mentioned his old family besides Zeus
With Typhon and Atlas being there, I could see Atreus being drawn there for GIANT reasons.
ha
Titan reason
Good pun
Imagine Atreus coming to Greece and realizing he has more than one missing brother
That was an scraped idea for GoW1 with the $€× minigame. And considering all the minigames across the greek saga, Kratos might get his own _Les Enfants Terribles_ in the future.
Kratos is Zeus's son after all...
@@solracstormhunter3023 Bro, it's gonna be Warhammer all over again!
Im looking forward to seeing some old familiar greek faces again
Honestly if SMS wanted to they could bring back the Greek Gods from the dead by saying that they fought their way out of the Afterlife just like Kratos did whenever he died
As Roman Gods would be better
Facts would be very interesting
@@LoneWolfe_XX Fr
Since we know that Atreus is traveling now, maybe he eventually goes to Greece and finally learns of his father's past, which is something I've wanted for ages.
Next Pantheon Celtic Britain as Kratos learning fixing the wrongdoings of Mimir allying with that pantheon fighting a god slayer in that pantheon
@@00martoneniris86 Nope. Mimir anyway has long passed his expiration date lol
I've been thinking of the same thing too,it would be so good
If we do end up going back to Greece, perhaps Apollo could have taken up Helios's station as the new god associated with the sun.
3:35 no me esperaba eso 🤝 Ya puedo descansar en paz ✌
I am curious on if we get to see Aphrodite and maybe eos and maybe Apollo because those gods we haven’t seen in a very long time, and of course maybe maybe atriums goddess of the hunt because we technically did see her in the first game.
I imagine Roman gods have replaced the dead Greek gods in the GoW universe
Do we KNOW that Atreus doesn't know that Kratos killed his first family? Mimir seems to know and we don't see that conversation happen. Kratos tells Freya which we do see happen in ragnarok. Atreus might not know but I don't remember there being anything the says for sure that he either does or doesn't.
He only knows that his father was not always the person he is today, he talks about that with Thrudd in Helheim saying that if he could change maybe Odin too, it was not like that in the end.
Atreus DOES KNOW that Kratos killed his own father. He told him at the end of GOW 4.
@GPitstra37 yes. That conversation we see in 2018. But I mean kratos' wife and daughter from Greece
I'd like to see Egypt as the comics say that Kratos left Egypt for the Norse Realms due to how annoying Thoth was. Maybe Atreus will get along with Thoth or he'll fight Set
I'm glad you mentioned how weird GoW Typhon is compared to mythological Typhon. He's practically an eldritch horror in the original myths, with animal faces coming out of his waist, tentacles, scaly skin, horns, and sometimes his face itself will warp or change, which Rick Riordan took as inspiration for his depiction of Typhon in Percy Jackson
Another 10/10 video kuba
Glad you enjoyed the vid man ❤️
It would be interesting if Aphrodite had gone to Rome to become her counterpart, Venus. Venus, along with love and lust and so on, is also a goddess of war. Rome could be a fun place to tie up some loose ends if it was played out that the gods that fled Olympus were now hiding under their alternate names there.
Kuba, with black myth wukong coming out soon. You should make a video about the god of war verison of sun wukong, and if we will ever meet him
That would be crazy
Make about the Norse Mythology with the Gods,Heroes/Demi Gods and Humans & Creatures that have not yet appeared and are still alive and can be used in the future Wanting revenge mainly on the animals and creatures of the gods and also the Norse Heroes/Demi Gods and the Gods of Asgard themselves of which I counted about 15 Gods who survived to Ragnarok and they didn't appear yet who knows in the future in the next games or next story dlcs Make a video about this 🤔😌👍Like and Bye!
It kinda feels bad to be able to watch kaptain's video before everyone else but it's also kind of fun feels like a video specially made for me
Btw kaptain I have uploaded a part 2 of my grave digger video and in that video I have something that might get you to stand up from your seat and scream I swear you'll love that video can you react to it on the bunker as well
Oh I didn't you know uploaded again. I'll check it out when I get some time
@@KaptainKuba I uploaded just a few hours ago kaptain you can react to it because what I showed in that video is something that might make you pass out because even if the wrong eyes and scar was noticed by other people something I found in that video only i and devs at Santa Monica know it's at the end of the video as a fun fact
Didn't Hestia appear in the books? She should be alive too. Would like to see her. Hestia Is Bestia after all.
Yo imagine kratos got aphrodite pregnant in gow 3 and their bastard son came back to try and kill kratos seeking revenge for the destruction of Olympus
Sounds a little similar…
I really think they are setting up Atreus to go to Greece to find Giants there.
I love you kuba
You know who should make a cameo? The boat captain from GoW 1
Best comment
i want kratos to save gods now not kill them so him going back to greece would be amazing teh convos would be amazing between him and the gods that are still alive
I hope they don't go down the we need prayers to feed on and live route. Always hated that.
I don't really get this obsession about "Aphrodite & Kratos having a kid and lets have some conflict"
Why do we want a kid from such a useless, unnecessary encounter?
From such a deity like Aphrodite, who has like no integrity.
trash "shipping" trope
@@vlad_47 It doesn't even look like shipping trope, more like simping trope. Aphrodite flashes her chest so we want her again that it's.
Not that i support people shipping Kratos with Freya or Athena, nor that it makes sense given how Kratos has treated both the women. But atleast they had some meat to the two characters so I understand some people might wanna ship them in certain circumstances.
But Aphrodite?
It's not shipping it's just simping.
I hope that Aphrodite and her handmaidens return. Icons 💜❤️
How could Atlas be the last one if Typhon still exists?
They could do a Greek spinoff if they resurrect Deimos and give him an og Kratos motivation
I'm not sure if I WANT characters from previous god of war games to return in future games.
You just know they'd mess up aphrodite.
I just want the gaps filled in between the end of the Greece pantheon and the start of the Norse saga
THE LAST SPARTAN BEING KRATOS'S KRATOS IS SUCH A GOOD IDEA HOLY SHIT!!!!! If Monica doesnt abuse that then they are stupid, with due respect.
brother you forget athena.
I don't really count her as part of the Greek pantheon. She has ascended to a higher plane
@@KaptainKubaI know but just think about her trying to get close to Atreus. In the same way as Kratos once was doing her dirty work
Imagine dionysus is a god we meet.
I wish remakes could expand more on greek lore and gods. Not significant changes to greek stories but just a bit more additional content.
Aphrodite is inevitable
