@@gutsynin6156 I was an ex-muslim as well but Alhamdulilah Allah guided me back. The fact the proofs of Islam aren't commonly taught is mind boggling especially in light of the fitna of the internet. And you don't need to get into philosophy if you don't want to, personally I did since my contentions were philosophical in nature but you can just go through the classical proofs for Islam such as the linguistic miracle of the Qur'an, there's so many books written on the topic.

Majority of the scholars for Quran exegesis believe the earth is round according to the Quran and this was at a time when the earth was believed to be flat. @@jonrendell I think he's just trying to convey the message and not to convert, at least let the son know and any misconceptions he might have about Islam. but if doesn't want to listen, then that's it no further action needed. However in the case of the son forcing his belief then yes action is needed and vice versa.
Dr Muhammad Salah is every educated about Islam. He wouldn't force Islam upon anyone because Muslims are commanded by Allah to do so. The Quran says "there is no compulsion in religion" it has to come from you, from your heart, so it would be wrong if he was trying to encourage to force belief.
