Windhoek to Victoria Falls | G Adventures

On the second day of this tour we crossed the border to Botswana. My highlight was the Okavango-Delta. We were there before the rainy season started so the water level was extremely low. Some locals took us in some traditional canoes to the campsite. This area was fenceless and our tour guide told us the next day that a hippo had crossed our campsite. Despite this we had a good night’s sleep, so I’m sorry that there isn’t any video available. After visiting the Chobe National Park, which I can really recommend, we crossed the border to the next country named Zimbabwe where the famous Victoria Falls are located. For me it was a must to indulge in a helicopter flight over the falls - no other words needed. That was an excellent end this tour.
