I did try linux for some of my specialty devices... Like my arm-based mini pc. But in term of daily driver... for some reason the windows "drag n' drop" and "plug and play" aspect still highly appealing for me. Not to mention the app availability as well.
Package manager? Text search? Custom file manager? Looks like you might want to try linux :)

Blue light effects are exaggerated, it's way more about brightness or doing activities that keep you up
