I am a beautician standing bind the chair for years and always wanted nice nails. Being in water and all the chemicals nothing stayed on. I did CND bought the lamps and everything else, still it would peel off. So, I stated looking for different gels. I tried Light elegance very good gel line with Liz Morris I watched the videos wrote every word down so I wouldn't forget. Then I found Melissa I have elevated my nails so high that's all they want now! I can't Thank Melissa for sharing everything she know she need a star in her crown for what she did for me!!

I’ve learned a lot more from you than I did in school and even learned things they didn’t teach and should have. I live in a small town in Canada and to hear your pricing I now know I have been charging way too low for what I know and what I can do (need to revisit that) I didn’t know my worth and now I’m starting to see it and have more confidence in myself and my work and I feel even if I charge more I would still keep my clients and if not, I have people that want to come to me just by seeing my clients nails. I have a client that doesn’t take care of her nails, she will dig in the garden with stones etc. then break or they lift. I thought it was my work not holding up but she slipped it out when we were just chatting while I was doing her fill.
@ that’s usually why they have broken nails. It because they are going way to long or they pic and or use them as tools! That’s what I’m talking about when I say charging for their broken nails. If it was your fault, I’ve broke before the two weeks and that’s not necessarily true either and all cases. There’s people who pick and a week later they have a broken nail. I could always tell when it’s their fault and not mine. They look at me crazy sometimes like how did you know ? Lol! I tell them I should do this for a living lol!

I absolutely agree that you are my favorite educator out there and you are soo fantastic to watch, you communicate with people in every video Which is priceless! There is one other educator named Dorota Palicka who is more of a hard gel nail tech who also shows live work on real clients in the salon and her own nails... I also think she is fantastic like you and you both do alot the exact same. I'm sure you've probably heard of her as she is an international nail educator for UpVoted nail gels or Perfect Nails. One difference is that she doesnt talk about pricing because she's in the UK i think but she goes back to basics and also advanced techniques. Both of you are the main educators that i really watch and listen too. Thankyou for everything.

I love love love doing nails. I do a lot of hand painting on my own nails and thanks to you dimensional now. lol can you please try to explain how to charge like that say a beach scene with an ombré back ground or even sweater nails something like that. You could call it a donation because you spend so much on your products. And I would put a price on my donation. Lol. If you truly love it so much! It’s never too late to get your license. Typically take more from 4 to 600 hours to complete school for nails. But honestly, if doing nails this year hobby have fun with it and if you wanna do other people‘s nails, like I said, just ask for that donation so you could replenish your nail products and have a little extra for yourself for sure! Hand painting isn’t my strong point, but I could do it. I would charge a dollar a minute. And that’s when you start painting to when you finish and that’s your cost for it. So if it’s taking you 60 minutes to paint a seat on their nails… Well there you have it!! 🤗😉🫶🏻💖✨

I’m having a Issue with clients falling asleep while I’m doing their nails and on their phones and not holding their hands properly which makes it difficult for me to do their nails, what can I do to address this issue?
@@gabriellsrael5846 Absolutely! That’s actually a good thing lol kind of. It means you’re not hurting them and they trust you for sure. My clients wanna fall asleep too, especially if it’s when they’re getting off of work. Make sure and there are elbows are pointed outward. That may help, but actually I would wake them up, as often as you have to! The sooner you’re done the sooner they could go to bed lol. 😂 I am kind of a silly person sometimes so I’ve made a joke out of it. They understand. Give them a piece of gum to chew or something to drink. That help helps as well. I hope this helps! 🙏🏻💅🏻✨
