I remember a long time ago in the summer of 2001 (when I was only 13) I had an idea for Alien VS Predator and Arnold was going to be the 2nd main character (after Victoria Rowell as LT Kurosawa), then Lance Henriksen being the 3rd main character AND Bill Paxton as the 4th Main character. Everybody all liked the idea of 10 Predators going down to fight 1000s of Aliens on the biggest island of Hawaii and having a big fight scene at the end in outer space on the Predator ship and agreed it was what all the fans really wanted. People such as Lance Henriksen, Michael Biehn, Bill Duke, Alicia Marie, Matt Winston, and Jeanette Goldstein ALL liked it and said it would've been a great movie to watch and the 3 RETURNING actors would've loved it as well.

In all honesty I am glad Arnold never returned for Predator 2. If he had you can be damn sure that it would have become another Terminator franchise where it depended on Arnold being in it to continue. Just like the terminator franchise the story would get shoehorned just to make sure Dutch would be involved somehow, just like how the T800/50 just HAD to be in every single movie cause reasons. Just like the Terminator movies they would have suffered more because of it.
Kinda hope they recast this character in future films. After goin back in time with pray seem like a good opportunity to reboot the franchise with some of the best characters from the lore.

I personally wouldn't want that. The rock is just so overused at this point and he's got such a huge ego that he would most likey want to fight the predator in a full on fist fight and win.
10:06 says "the predators first adversary", obviously not the case as the 'trophy' given Danny Glover by the Predator in respect in the second movie was a flintlock pistol, dated from, was it the 17th? century, obviously suggesting they had been trophy hunting on earth for several centuries.

I've Always Wanted "Dutch" to ReAppear in a PREDATOR Film. (With All These New Franchise "ReVamps", I Can't Believe TheCharacter "Dutch" Hasn't Cameo'd in a PREDATOR Film!)
Getting off topic a little bit. In the early 90's, DC comics and dark horse comics, did Batman vs Predator. It was pretty cool. If Christian Bale returns as Batman, he is the only Batman that can pull off battling the Predator. When I read the comic, I read Batman's part using Michael Keaton's voice. Due to the year the comic was made. Now many years later, I read the comic in Christian Bale's voice.
Just me but what Illfonic did for Arnold's character Dutch's appearance if done correctly he'll look like Snake Plisskin at least with the eye patch anyway

Yeah I'm pretty happy with his story in Hunting Grounds even though I would have loved to see it as a movie.
1st Predator is a phenomenal epic classic. One of the best sci-fi/action/horror films ever. 2nd one, though not as good as the 1st, was entertaining and enjoyable. 2010 Predators was pretty good too. 2018 one was crap. Love to see noth Dutch and Harrington return.
Dutch should return someday while the actor is still alive not as the main character but should have a significant role in a new movie.
Danny Glover killed it in P2, killed a Yautja with its own blade.
Granted, he was too old for that shit.
Predators was the bomb! Royce was just as good as Dutch.
We don't talk about Topher, he was a goofy serial killer...
That battle scene with the rebel group is a restaurant in Jalisco it’s real cool seeing the movie and superimposing the battle in your mind while eating tacos there.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is most Toughest Legendry Heroic Actor in the whole history, I've been watching Schwarzenegger Movie for my life to see all the actions 💪🏻I'll Be Back
In all honesty I am glad Arnold never returned for Predator 2.
Wise man
1st predator movie was a masterpiece and movies after that just kept getting worse and worse..
Dutch came back in Alien Vs Predator the arcade game. "I got it"
He didn’t come back for Predator 2, and yet he came back for Terminator Dark Fate.
Because he was a shell of the person he use to be. You could see it in the choppa at the end and it's touched on in predator 2....dude had PTSD.
Kinda hope they recast this character in future films. After goin back in time with pray seem like a good opportunity to reboot the franchise with some of the best characters from the lore.
Dutch and Danny glover are in the new predator movie preview. Also Dutch is who skynet based their design of the T-800 on from reading his military records.
P2 was so underrated.
I like it alot.
Rebooted reboot re-re boots, booted re-re-reboot, rebooted reboot... There, I summarized the interview.
The Predator was inspired by the Rocky movie. After Rocky 3 someone asked Stallone “Who are you going to fight next an alien?”
I have to admit, I never watch Predator 2. If I have a predator itch to scratch part 2 is literally never considered as an option.
The second one wasn't even that bad.
@@lamasterbatonlll1383 Can't do it.
You're missing out, Predator 2 is underrated.
a dispute over $250,000
Being the reason for Arnold not being in the sequel is one of the most tragic Hollywood stories I’ve ever heard. Smh
I love Predator 1,2 and I just wish they would do a part 3 with the Rock because I believe it will be a great way to end the saga.
Honestly surprised a Predator film with the rock hasn't been made
I personally wouldn't want that. The rock is just so overused at this point and he's got such a huge ego that he would most likey want to fight the predator in a full on fist fight and win.
I'm suprised not many people in this comments section are talking about Predators, considering it features in the video. Best follow up movie imo.
At the time, Arnold Schwarzenegger was busy working on Total Recall.
I actually liked predator 2. Danny Glover did a good job. He's not huge like Arnold but he's definitely bigger than the average man.
I definitely agree with your opposite opinion on that
I did like 2 as well. I like how Predator and Glover were taking turns chasing each other 😆
Ayyyy, I LOVED all the Predator movies (Thus far!!) Not too sure on PREY, though.
10:06 says "the predators first adversary", obviously not the case as the 'trophy' given Danny Glover by the Predator in respect in the second movie was a flintlock pistol, dated from, was it the 17th? century, obviously suggesting they had been trophy hunting on earth for several centuries.
I cant believe you put Jingle All The Way up with the rest of the great movies Arnold did in the 90s lol 😂
They said why if you kill one of them you are deemed worth to live. They will not hurt nor come after you again
They should do a movie. Where all the end survivors are sitting at a table and send out there best warrior to prove themselves.
'Predators' was the last decent sequel and film featuring the Predator, and even that felt like fan fiction.
thanks acidglow
Thanks for watching
AcidGlow: "The Many Reasons Why Arnold Never Returned as Dutch on Film - Predator Lore & History Explained"
Arnold: "I'll be back."
Predator worth more to me than Fast and furious franchise...im a Paul walker fan but these 'Predator' brought and gives us the excitement and other things that are just next level to us
Preditor was the first movie I ever saw in theater..!! I remember being soo terrified after they take out the rebel camp and the preditor starts stalking in ir
So glad Arnold didn't come back for the 2010 and 2018 films he deserves a full role and would be awesome if they brought him back as old man dutch with some of the predator hunting grounds plot
He also appears in the capcom videogame Aliens vs Predator as a cyborg.
1. Cause he died soon thereafter of radiation poisoning from the atomic bomb the predator set off LOL
And you got this info from where?
they seem to be confusing "reboot" with "extending the continuity"
That ending for 2010 predators would’ve been sweet.
Dutch dies in the comic book series , it’s at least hinted at as he has serious radiation sickness after the incident in the jungle
I've Always Wanted "Dutch" to ReAppear in a PREDATOR Film.
(With All These New Franchise "ReVamps", I Can't Believe TheCharacter "Dutch" Hasn't Cameo'd in a PREDATOR Film!)
They're both in an Isolation POD inside the Great Collectors Tomb.
Yeah it was a great way to bring back Dutch. I think that's why Arnold agreed to lend his voice for the audio tapes.
Why I want Dutch to come back = Get to the CHOPPA!
Why don't they a movie with him using the video game story? That would be SICK !!
after the first predator Dutch probably moved someplace cold with no vegetation for miles.... and then hid under his bed for the rest of his life. That would give you a level of ptsd you just don't recover from.
Growing up as a child I always thought predator and contra were the same.
Adrian Brody held his own. id love to revisit his character.
They did in the comic books.
predator 2 and predators , AVP, AVP Requiem were fking dope
I love jamming predator intro theme loud 🔊 In my ride
Because he's watched the sequels so far and his is still the best. He's not gonna ruin that
