Using the shaver at the beginning or end doesnt make difference for me but i do prefer doing it at the beginning because a lot of people who bald the fade out at the end dont go high enough with the shaver because they are afraid to make a mistake and have to redo the fade at the bottom again. I tend to see them just bald out the very bottom which to me doesnt leave your client with a haircut that is going to last them as long as it should
@Alanisrael12 Yeah i like to bald my fades out to the max potential so the fade is as tight as possible . Makes it pop more too. Its possible to do it at the end i know a few guys that do it like that and they go up as high as they should because they have been doing it like that for so long. Its all preference at the end of the day.

I start with the c-cups if they have them then go into the vertical bar on each side then i start directly in the middle the go to the right side then the left side and bring it all together

this is facts , seems faster to do shaver at the end but does not come out as crisp as using the shaver first

Line up , always put client straight in the mirror and donthere high side first, then bring the lower side up to match the high one 😊
If he wants a darker line up why enhance it? Why not just cut it with a #1 on top instead of a half. Then his line up would b darker right?
