- Prince William and Kate along with Prince George and Princess Charlotte visit Cardiff Castle in Wales.
The family meet performers and crew involved in a special Platinum Jubilee Celebration Concert taking place in the castle grounds.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte also learn more about the technical production underpinning the show, including lighting, sound and visual effects, before helping with some of the final preparations for the concert.

I’m sure they know that they’re “different” and that is why they’re being followed. I remember William always peeking out from under his hair just like Diana did. He really came into his own as an adult. I think George is much more shy and unsure. Charlotte on the other hand, is the complete opposite. She reminds me of the Queen actually.
Princess Charlotte may be checking to see if any of the press she dislikes is following.
Catherine and William are wonderful parents, and are gracious enough to share their adorable children with us. I really look forward to watching them grow up. Harry and Meghan hiding their children is why many wonder if they even exist.

Love the hands on approach with the children, the constant hand on the shoulder 'giving the children the okay, you're safe, have fun, take it all in and you'll learn as much as I did with your grandmother Diana'. She would be so proud of William and Kate and how they're bringing their children up! They're becoming the Peoples Children!

It's weird, I watched William from birth grow up on our TV, he always felt like a distant nephew strange as it sounds. Now he's a parent to 3 who he adores. George reminds me of him so much. Lottie is cute as a button and I think Louis is going to be the cheeky one.

Wonderful the way the future king is on hands with his children. His good character and caring nature will pass on.
We have the Late Princess Diana to thank for his behavior. She taught him how to interact with all manner of people not just the rich. She also taught them life could be fun as a Royal to allow play time with stuff like music, MsDonalds food and doing things the Royals have never done before. William found a lovely woman who reminded him of his mother and ya are blessed to have William and Catherine.
George and Charlotte both do that little thing with their tongue. Wow what confident children. Great parenting, you can just see how they interact as a family.

I loved when William joined in the song. So funny but cool.
Sweet Caroline 😂 he took me by surprise when he belted that out. I think he could've sung it all if he wasn't laughing so much. I love that when Catherine + William laugh, it's such a natural outburst of spontaneous joyfulness. They definitely don't fake their personalities, relationship, or having a good time/serious time/ sombre time - how they are is how they're feeling. Honest. Respectful. Wonderful

This made me cry. They are not just good Royals, but those kids are simple adorable and are so special. They both seem warm, polite, adore one another, and so respectful. They are learning how to relate to people and have such great parents! ⚘👏🙄

The Duchess of Cambridge is so good at showing her children it’s ok to have fun and participate like at Cardiff. So important when your child is shy. And Prince William is looking more relaxed always a hand on his sons back when reassurance is needed.

Lovely to see Catherine dressed in red today! With her lovely green eyes, any shade of bright pink to dark red enhances her beauty. (Ask any artist how opposites on the color wheel act to make the opposite color "pop.") Brilliant pink remains the best color for Catherine. The children are always adorable and Prince William is always handsome.

Correct. It's important for people to see the actual children growing up and being trained into their roles. People should be able to look at the children and immediately say, "there's Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the future of the monarchy." The children shouldn't be strangers if their future is to be working members of the royal family.

This is great exposing the children to behind the scenes of the rehearsals to bring a performance to the concert level. A terrific day for the kids

So true, it's going to be an important part of their lives. Not just the rehearsals (you're clearly a performer) but also all the Stage Management side. They even found a kids-sized mixer!
Their great-grandma got started with her Guides company aged 11, running mini concerts. About the right time, I was a little behind, 16, teaching half the NYT so sing, in the 60s. I was last seen Stagecraft Mentoring the Southbank Voicelab.
These two DARLING VERY INTELLIGENT Royal Children are amazing! So sweet to include them on this outing! We see reserve George just like his Dad and adventurous Charlotte just like her Mum, after a little coaching she will step up. What a GLORIOUS FAMILY!!! We LOVE YOU!
Charlotte is going to be a rock star. She will be the next princess Anne. George will be a rock star as well, but in a different way. Two very different personalities.

Princes Charles and William's wise counsel to Harry was to give his relationship with Markle more time to develop before entering into lawful matrimony. If only Harry would have listened. His life surely would have been far different today. Perhaps he too would have found his own 'Catherine'.

The children are so good at following their parents lead. It's interesting to see Kate or William more casual interactions that silently tell the children it's ok to actively engage. They try to keep it fun for the kids even though it's likely a bit stressful for them. It's lovely to see Kate and William turn it more into a fun field trip than an obligation to fill. The little princes has such fun and such a beautiful smile like her mum.

Prince George seems a bit nervous at times. It's wonderful to see him relaxed and enjoying himself. Princess Charlotte is a confident and "daring" little girl - her enthusiasm reminds me of Princess Anne. I think Prince George thrives under Charlotte's vivacity!
It's nice to see the closeness between George and Charlotte. They will always be there for each other. Charlotte has the wonderful gift of confidence combined with that of a mother hen. George has, the seriousness of the elder child and has obviously had his future explained to him. I liked his confidence when he asked questions when they were listening on the headphones, most children would ask the question of their parent but he just turned to the chap and asked him, that quiet confidence to communicate will serve him well. Great parenting backed with great school education is very evident.
