No Leeds? Wooo! I despise them beyond any other species in Ark. I love rafting in Ark-a result of my early days as a very new player roaming The Island in single player mode. Learning how to build an efficient mobile base on the raft was one of the earliest things I discovered in Ark. I didn’t even know what Cryopods were back then though I couldn’t get them at that point anyway so I ended up designing and building two kinds of raft. The second type basically amounted to a big wooden box with feeding troughs inside. Quite literally a livestock cargo vessel. I’d seal my new tame inside, carefully positioning the troughs to resist clipping and sail to my base. I learned to hug the coastline and stay in shallow waters where possible and when I became more advanced I’d regularly jump into the water to scout ahead for Leeds. Until I got my hands on the motorboat. Even now I still enjoy sailing in the early to mid game. And once I advance far enough the hunter becomes the hunted. I target them on sight and if II’m on the motorboat I even troll them by going around in circles around it. Oh I despise them.
The map looks amazing! The giant temple you said at the end is the mount Olympus😅 I cant wait to see how further this map can go with all the updates, new areas, etc
I'm a huge fan of ancient mythology i really wish they could just make this an official release map, simply cuz it would have a much larger reach and would give players a big reason to actually play ASA since it would be the first actual new and official map instead of just remastered content.
I agree, I do think they've missed a massive opportunity with doing what they ended up doing with ASA, takes them 3-4 months to remaster a map, should have just given us the Island map right off the bat to test out the engine and from then on make new maps, I know people moan about paywalls and all that but people would be more inclined to pay for new maps if they are completely fresh official maps!
Nekatus stated on a Rasclarks Live stream of this map that he thinks its gonna take at least 2 years before its totally finished, and I'm still excited for when this released, because his maps have never disappointed me and my friends. After the Story maps His maps are our favorites to play on.
I love how this map looks. Been writing this everywhere I could. But I hope WC adopts this map as part of their mainline unofficial roster. Even if it continues to stay as a paid dlc.

It's tough in content creation for sure with ARK right now, split player base between two games, the way the developers have gone about a lot of things has definitely deterred a lot of players from playing it and mostly the game is so poorly optimized on all platforms. I always try to look at things positively though because I love this game! Thank you! :)
2 things here! Not to be a downer but why release this map nowhere near finished? Especially at a cost? Also I have been trying the official modded maps and I feel this theme just doesn't suit this game at all, I dunno but I guess it will do until Extinction 🤪
It's free! The Premium version won't be announced until later in the year :D You're not a fan of the Greek theme? I like it as it's a change up, preferred the theme of Fjordur still though!

It's pretty small to be honest, not too difficult, I didn't want to give away too much into on the caves incase I spoilt the exploration value there so decided to just give a basic description and not show the cave entrances!
There will most likely be official servers for it. I doubt it will be part of the same cluster as the official maps though, we'll have to see what the future holds. No way of really telling yet!

Still want to bring up svart hasn’t been updated, finished or added onto in almost a year missing tek cave, half of the caves are blocked and the long awaited aberrant area hasn’t and probably won’t be added any time soon due to this new project. All while profiting off an unfinished map. Not saying svart or this map won’t be great or that nek is the only person doing this I just think there should definitely be some sort of actual roadmap added.
@@BEYPlaysGames I spotted a few Owl Griffins in the 2 valleys Southwest of the Obelisk Statue. I call them Forest Valley and Waterfall Valley lol. Have you noticed any on the map yourself?
I do agree, it's not the best map for me! Like you said, it does look very nice but I'm not the best builder so i'd like more flatter ground. It does all look very samey too.
Everyone I know is excited but I won't even bother I know from it's size my series s xbox won't handle it. Like Appalachian it to much I auto DC. Althemia I DC consently isn't really playable ..so I know I won't be able to play this. So I'll skip it maybe got Atlantis I'll have a new Xbox n play that one alot

@@BEYPlaysGames i love how you must gather the mini bosses heads to do the main bosses and then do the fenrir one , it’s a creative way to grind . Let’s not talk about the ressources there , it is just perfect how you can farm anything there . And finally the fjordhawk , i miss that pet a lot .

This map crashed on me so much today i lost count and quit.
The map is nice but it's all mountains and there are no places with large, flat ground.

May aswell try it? Althemia hasn't been the best optimization-wise, I will admit Astraeos runs very well when compared to other recent mod maps!

That is most likely a bug, I tested it and they target the ship but don't damage it. At least that was the case for me!

Yeah I loved Fjordur and Svart but this one is a bit meh in my opinion. Needs A LOT more if he's going to better those maps in my opinion.
