Probably gonna catch some heat for this. Super7 figures are pretty awesome if it’s an animated character. Their real person head sculpts are pus. They honestly made Andre the Giant look mentally challenged in all 3 versions they have produced. The Major pod guys, talkin shop brothers, they look cartoonish and not in a complimentary way.

I drop in Forbidden Planet the way home from work on occasions, it's been a while since I was there now. but "DAM" this video highlights the reality of the steep price increases "CRAZY" it was good you spent time remarking on this - I'd most likely look in here and ordered off of Amazon to get better prices - although that Hulk you picked up isn't listed on there ATM. Hey dave I know you're not necessarily a dc collector but trust me when I say the page punchers 6 inch superman is an amazing figure I picked it up a couple weeks ago out of sheer shock of seeing it on the shelves in my local target and I have been greatly impressed. There's just something about that figure, the butterfly joints in the shoulder are so seamless and smooth, even with the 5£ price hike in that store I think you'd enjoy it if you checked it out.
Maybe David should get it just to see what you're talking about, to use it as a villainous Superman before selling it if he doesn't like it in his collection, but I'd really like to see if his trying it out leads him to change his feelings about McFarlane's latest stuff.
I always enjoy it when you hunt at Forbidden Planet. My only wish is that they open a chain up in each state.

Venom and carnage looks absolutely awesome would be tempted to get them I've actually got venom symbiote prop on eBay was only £10 absolute bargain you can play with it and have it as a pet
I always struggle with my purchase with the NECA tmnt toon waves, they go for $150-$180NZD Scumbug and Antrax were $130NZD on special, but I love these chararcters saying that I ain';t a completionist most of the Characters I wanted I've got there is probably a handful left I want... in future waves but I could care less for the Human or less interesting villains from the tv show.

As cool as Forbidden Planet is, I don't know how you and other collectors in the UK do it, David, everything over there seems like it's at least 50-percent more expensive as compared to here in the States, holy hell, lol.

I would never pay £85 for figures absolutely crazy 🤪 I might get some one collective figures at some stage they look really awesome around the £100 area but much cheaper than over expensive hot toys £300 area

Hello! So, anyone who watched this whole video, what toys (and feel free to include timestamps unless that is too much trouble) did you like, which do you have, which would you like to have, which did you dislike? Why for all of those questions! I'd love to know.
A lot of the stuff that was shown in this video didn't look all that appealing to me. I'm trying to get hold of Silvermane heads to attach to my set of MCU First Ten Years Ultron bodies I just ordered, but very few of the new things shown here looked very interesting to me overall, nothing really made me too excited. I didn't like how almost anything was looking, and the McFarlane stuff was really bothering me, even though I very much approve of his prices and his sculpts at least look pretty high quality, though I liked them more in the olden days usually and was more impressed by those (to this day even).
I guess it was more that not a lot of stuff coming out really fit with the stuff I already have and the direction of my collection and the look of it, but also nothing was looking particularly beautiful to me, a lot was even verging towards ugliness.
I was pretty annoyed by Xamot or whatever, I just felt like throwing up sort of lol, just all the spending and then spending on duplicated that are reversed only and all the ripping off going on.
The prices of those cartoony turtles, even though I liked their bright colors, but they were still sort of bad looking which is the style of the art. I don't know, even if I had money I don't think I'd buy practically any of this stuff.
I have to go back and look at the few seconds flashes of some of the Star Wars stuff, but I think I'm covered there as well.
I'm most excited to cancel my 5-pack of Silvermane, Razorback, and others, and I might opt for my own customizations or buying other versions of Molten Man and Silvermane because I really don't like those or the height or the simplicity of them, yuck, and the price is insane, especially for me in Canada, so that will be really enjoyable for me to cancel.
I also wish I could muster up the strength and Dark-Side-Power (Hatred) required to cancel a bunch more stuff from BBTS (Big Bad Toy Store) and not fear or regret it, especially some of the more expensive things.
I have some things on there that constantly "sell out" so that I fear I'll regret it if I cancel them, but in some cases I've bought doubles and I don't like that, like I've ordered the customer limit of 2 Apocalypse and 2 Beta Ray Bill figures from Diamond Select, but I only need one, of the Beta Ray Bill anyway. Apocalypse I might still get two, and I cancelled a duplicate I had of Red Hulk which is also sold out. If there was no kind of demand created by these things selling out like that, I'd probably cancel both Red Hulk and Beta Ray Bill, but I do want Hulk to have another kind of enemy in Red Hulk besides the Diamond Select Abomination figures I have, which are also two. I often have two or more of Diamond Select figures for some reason, sometimes because I wanted to customize the second one.
I had cancelled Storm Shadow but I put it back on the list, again, I had ordered it because it sold out elsewhere, then I saw it had sold out again in other places so I ordered it again, but that is not what I'd like driving my decisions lol. I do like the figure, but I also think it is too expensive and doesn't have that much cool or unique detail overall. I usually like things to be more colorful, painted, impressive overall.
So, currently in my "Pile of Loot" are WWE Mace to play some sort of villain that Ghost Rider and The Punisher and characters like that might face, and I considered getting WWE T-Bar and WWE Rachel Gonzalez or whatever as well as sort of matching villains, and possibly even WWE Reckoning and Mustafa Ali, but it is likely I'll skip all of those. McFarlane Bane is also in there ready to ship, and Firelord as well, which is now "sold out", which kept me from cancelling the order also, even though I was sort of bothered by how the colors might end up looking among my things, but maybe it will be alright and interesting and he can be an eccentric sort of character and another representation for the element of fire besides The Human Torch figure I have from that Fantastic Four series and stuff like that, also maybe he will look cool with the light shining behind him or somewhere.

From Ebay I recently ordered a set of 3 MCU First Ten Years Ultron figures, to turn some into custom Silvermane figures, The Complete Series Transformers Cartoon Box Set along with the feature animated film DVD as well, and I'm about to try to get hold of at least one, and possible more, Silvermane heads from the Legends Speed Demon figure.
I'm also looking at some trading cards of with Marvel characters and art, and some comic collections. I recently received at least one of two art books I ordered having to do with the Diablo games and designs.
It is all pretty depressing to think about lol.

@@micklestapler4 Haha thank you so much! I hope I'll be able to translate this sort of stuff into speech or something for TH-cam videos! I'll be testing that out to make sure I don't get lost in doing other stuff on a video that I forget my main goal is always to say things that makes me and others laugh! I think speech should hopefully have less typos unless auto-generated closed captioning tries to make a fool of me.
Like above I missed "the" and often I look back at my comments and some of the typos and I feel my head getting hot and sometimes it gets so bad that I have to click edit and start cleaning up the shame.
I saw a video being recommended on my TH-cam which I've set to have just general, non-specific, recommendations rather than catered to my viewing habits, which had apparently just become endless videos of horrible things they thought I wanted to see every moment of my life.
Anyway, there is a channel called Dental Digest getting some wild views apparently, possibly due to the condition of teeth around the world. I think I may have figures out how to make irresistible thumbnails because the other one with a lot of clicks had a big butt on it. So weird toothbrushes and teeth stuff and butts all in one picture might just make me TH-cam's hottest new thing.
Another video it showed me, because it is pretending to not actually spy on me, says that supposedly 50,000 students didn't show up for their first day in school in LAUSD or something. That means Displaying Model Behaviour is having an impact on more than just a few people picking up on David's channel habits. 50,000 is also the exact amount of people who visited the Wrestling channel on August first when it opened up and left their impact smudge on the glass because it wasn't opened yet.
I can relate though, I have no idea what day it is and what I am going to do or have to do in a day. I bought like 12 bags of potato chips the other day, my nose was blocked all night maybe from the bad oil, and I took out our tenth mouse from the apartment and left it at a coffee shop. If I had school today, which I probably do (at age 35), I'd have to skip it too.
David is our education and babysitting during the day, and I'd like David to make even more videos during the day, every day!
I was calculating, as I do, how I might become crazy rich so I can afford space to display my toys, and if a person makes 1000 dollars per live stream, and does 3 livestreams a day at different times, and does that every day pretty much, in a year they will have a million dollars or something? That way they can afford paying someone to look for a house for them while they work at that rate for another few years in order to afford what their agent finds. It is like the beginning of Dracula, but after inflation.

Man! I know everyone has their own tastes and preferences but I will never understand how people can look at marvel legends and think they look great and then look at mcfarlane stuff and think it looks like trash.🤯

I collect both and I have to say it's not the look of McFarlane but the articulation that bums me out. Not to mention the character selection is pretty minimal (70 percent is Batman and I'm a huge Batman fan but why do we need so many when we still don't have other superheroes or villain's for that matter) I will say though if your a customizer then there's a lot of cool opportunities to make McFarlane look even better with all the detail sculpting . I hope this doesn't get you upset I'm just trying to explain my thoughts on why I prefer ML to McFarlane. Hope your going well man by the way I really enjoy your name tag and picture, great movie lol. Oh and McFarlane prices tend to be better as well to be fair
What I find funny is that Legends colectors buy 100 plus figure whit the same body mold whit diferent head. Other hand theres Black Series colectors who complain when two figure share the same legs.

These are just a fraction of the SEO search terms you could've put into the video to get lots of search results. If you were to write in all that you talk about and show, or at least a good chunk of it and the most likely to be searched things, I think you might get better search results and new visitors to the channel probably. It might take a little time and work, but it would be worth it since this is your income now too!

Because you DON'T know the character or history of guys like Stalker, "bland Army dude", Dave says... Stalker was an Army Ranger, and served in the SAME LRRP (Long Range Recon Patrol) unit as Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes, and Wade Wilson (who later became a Crimson Guard 'Fred', and then ditched Cobra, oh, and incidentally he is ALSO Kamakura's dad...)... Tomax & Xamot, the Crimson Twins, are Cobra Commander's Crimson Guard Commanders, and THEIR law firm funds MUCH of Cobra... (They are also acrobats and feel each other's pain... It's a twin thing.)
Basically, you're passing up on top tier characters because you don't know their history... Essentially, judging those books by their covers, as it were.

I must say, I side with Dave on this one only because if your not the biggest fan of GI Joe (which I'm not, to me they were just guys with guns I say with respect to those who do enjoy it) so to pass him up because he doesn't know him and he looks bland to the uneducated then Id say it's justified. No, I totally understand your point, especially if you're not particularly a fan per se. I know that everyone isn't, obviously, and there's nothing wrong with that either, so I don't expect ANYONE, even Dave, to go and learn EVERYTHING GI Joe right away, because that's a basic impossility... I mean, I've been collecting GI Joe since '82, and reading the comics since Jr. High School, PLUS the cartoons, etc., so IT IS A LOT of information to absorb, lol.
I get where you're coming from though, and I certainly appreciate your respectful response. That alone is always appreciated.
Also, I may not have been clear on my intent, with regard to Dave reading up on these characters... What I was intending was simply to Google or Wiki them as they come out (since Hasbro are taking their sweet @$$ time getting them out, lol), and learn a little about those particular one's before going on the internet and (unintentionally) offending/irritating actual long-term Joe fans by describing them as "THIS guy", or "bland whatever", lol, and essentially disrespecting the characters themselves, and SOME of the fans... I'm NOT one of "THOSE" Joe fans, but I have seen tons of them go off on OTHER actual fans, enough to know that it's only a matter of time before someone gets nasty with our boy Dave, so I'm just trying to prevent that to a certain degree, and I figured since Dave is bothering to collect these figures, AND ESPECIALLY BECAUSE he's an internet personality, that it wouldn't hurt him to learn a little about the characters he's talking about. You know what I mean?
Now, that said, obviously, there's NO need to buy EVERY figure that comes out, like Tomax & Xamot, particularly if you're not the biggest fan of the property... Stalker, however, has ALWAYS been an important member of the Joe team, and WAS ONE of the original 13 Joes. The Cobra Officer, along with Cobra Soldier/Trooper (who are UNDER the Officers!), and Cobra Commander, we're the original 3 Cobra figures... And you can never go wrong with an Officer to command your Soldier/Troopers, lol.
So, I'm simply suggesting a tiny bit more effort to be slightly MORE informed on these toys he enjoys talking about.😂😂😂 (I'll be the first to admit that NOT ALL of the GI Joe characters were well designed or thought out back in the day, and in FACT, I think Hasbro's design team did Stalker a huge disservice with his Classified figure, particularly on the colors and box art, but also on the lack of gear & equipment they could have given him, AS an Army Ranger. Personally, I'll probably wait for the figure release in his correct green camo colors and pass on this bland colored version, as Dave rightly did. Keeping in mind that I JUST suggested he learn about them, NOT necessarily buy them, lol!😂😂😂)
Even I, as a long time Joe collector, do NOT buy every version of every character, and there are even characters I don't like enough to buy any version. I definitely DON'T buy ANY of the Tiger Force/Python Patrol bull$#!t, BUT there are lots of collectors who do, and if they enjoy something that I don't care for, I'm actually happy for them.
