I don't know if it was my actions, or a conversation with my mother, or something entirely unrelated, but one of the other ladies who also worked there ended up watching our group one day, and she paid more attention to lil ol' me and/or the boy I'd been repeatedly biting... CUE THE COMMON SENSE QUEEN!!! I wasn't just RANDOMLY biting - that boy was CONSTANTLY trying to hug me, (described later on as him having a toddler-equivalent crush on me) and I WAS NOT OKAY WITH THAT, SOOOOOO, what does a toddler, who has not yet learned to speak at all, much less learned how to tell someone not to touch them, or to tell the nearest authority figure that they're being subjected to non-consentual physical contact? Being a therian is not a choice, you cant choose your theriotype (the animal that you non physically identidy as), you can have multiple theriotypes, some (but not all) therians have these things called shifts, there are many kind as shifts such as mental shifts (qhen you think more like your theriotype), phantom shifts (feeling like you have a body part of your theriotype like a tail or ears), etc. and theres a sport cald quadrobics where a person runs, walks, and jumps on all fours (not all therians do this, and your still a valid therian if you dont do quadrobics), and some therians where gear like masks, cat ears, tails and paws to look pr connect to their theriotype(s) (again not all therians do wear gear, and your still a valid therian if you dont wear gear), and we dont go by any different pronouns, we can still go by she/he/they/xe or whatever pronouns we prefer. :3 also we sont use litter boxes, and we know that we are still human. Just some stuff i thought would be good for people to know! :D

I was gonna submit to this 'cause I've had one of the most stressful winters of my life, but it required a lot of explanation of the things that were going on. After seeing this video, I feel like my current conundrum that's sorta tied to the stress of earlier this year is completely normal and not a big deal to be experiencing. Legit helpful to put into perspective.
I agree with the "people get way too involved with their high school lives" thing. I feel bad for young people who don't know any better because their whole LIVES is high school! 5 days a week with the same clique-y people, especially if you're struggling to find where you belong in all of it. I'm currently 24 and I don't talk to ANYONE I went to school with except 1 person but even then we didn't talk for about 3 years after graduation.
School is such a small percentage of our lives. It really truly isn't that deep but like I said, they don't know any better 😔 especially when it's been the same routine since first grade

That is EXACTLY the sort of motivation behind stuff like this in small humans (especially toddlers) - I've actually got my own one of these, which I (obviously) know of from a secondhand retelling : Apparently, when {YA HOMIE RIGHT HERE, ME,} I was in pre-school/daycare (same location, if I understand correctly) as a two-year-old, [one of] the adults watching over our age group was,,, I guess putting me in time-out or whatever?? Something like that... She said it was because I was BITING this one other toddler in there. Like, it happened more than once... I don't know if it was my actions, or a conversation with my mother, or something entirely unrelated, but one of the other ladies who also worked there ended up watching our group one day, and she paid more attention to lil ol' me and/or the boy I'd been repeatedly biting... CUE THE COMMON SENSE QUEEN!!! I wasn't just RANDOMLY biting - that boy was CONSTANTLY trying to hug me, (described later on as him having a toddler-equivalent crush on me) and I WAS NOT OKAY WITH THAT, SOOOOOO, what does a toddler, who has not yet learned to speak at all, much less learned how to tell someone not to touch them, or to tell the nearest authority figure that they're being subjected to non-consentual physical contact? THEY DEFEND THEMSELVES IN [BASICALLY] THE ONLY WAY THEY KNOW HOW : BITING. I'd been getting in trouble for biting the boy, but HE was the one REPEATEDLY invading MY personal space!
Obviously, I was too young at he time to remember this NOW, but like???? Honestly???? I'm STILL PISSED ABOUT IT, - not because I'd take issue with a toddler being physically affectionate towards people they feel affectionate towards, but because the daycare didn't even TRY to see if I was biting him FOR A REASON. They just kept PUNISHING ME FOR DEFENDING MYSELF. It shouldn't have gone on for so long, but it did... BUUUUT, HAPPY ENDING TIME : the lady who (actually was the only one there capable of doing that job properly, wait what who said that hahaha-) figured out what was really going on? She looked at the evidence (AKA me, my behavior, the way my brain seemed to be working/developing, etc.) and had me moved into a different branch/group of the place - not, like, into a different one within the same age group, (IDEK if they would've even HAD another one, since it was a relatively small daycare) but into the NEXT AGE GROUP. Like, this lady looked at me long enough, and ultimately went, "GURL, you're more mature than any of the other kids/toddlers your age; we're gonna put you with the older ones..." And I proceeded to THRIVE in comparison to before.
(After typing this all out... I'm realizing... DAMN... Not much changed about my brain/behavior over time LMFAO - like, there were obviously the expected changes of growing up, but like???? I decided that I wasn't chill about unwelcome/unrequested physical contact SO EARLY ON LMFAO. AND I've been grouped with older kids, put into/recommended for "gifted" classes/programs, been told that I am (and with MANY reasons) more mature than most people my age, etc. I guess the neurodivergency was an ever-present kind of thing XD
