lol That Xasthur guy really comes off like everything he hates, and maybe its a form of projection. The way he wants to avoid labels and not be listed among black metal reaks of the BM elitist he hates. You cant sell it without a label and humans will label it regardless. And at the end of the day and these bands arent giving away these albums free typically.. they get pressed through some art house or European label often.
