These are lovely locos with the GWR green livery ,I've just obtained etched nameplates ( st. Michaels mount ) and that adds that finishing touch to an icon locomotive.lovely video to ..long live the HSTs .......
Lovely set, I unfortunately bought 2 sets back in 19 from hattons both of which I had to return due to awful problems just gave up and got a refund those are to expensive to try one again but they are lovely 👌
Nice set but £100 too expensive i’m afraid. DCC fitted is just abour acceptable for that price but DCC ready - not a chance! but when you have Accurascale knocking out what they are for the price they are, in comparison the price is barmy. Bachman, Hornby and Dapol need to up their game AND reduce their prices.

Thanks for your explanation regarding day/ night running lights, I was wondering why one light stays permanently off ( I run them on DC) . It appears on DC the power car is set up for day lights whilst the dummy for night lights, interesting if it is the same for all of them or is it just my set? Cheers

Accurascale needs to do a HST tooling ASAP, they would easily do it £100 cheaper
We live in hope, they can also do a class 08 and class 58 while they're at it.

What were the problems? I have about 20 sets and the only issue I've had is the poor headlamp pick ups on the old style pcb board.
