Great video overall. Straight to the point, even made sections to skip to if necessary. I also love that you tested the speakers with Rammstein, straight up hit my taste in music!
I watched a lot of other videos on changing these mx5 speakers to help me on my first time speaker project. This is by far the most helpful video, you clearly showed every step and the right size of the speakers! thank you!
If anyone is doing this as an upgrade, I strongly suggest you Dynamat (or Noico) the doors (There are lots of tutorials on TH-cam). That usually makes a far larger improvement than replacing the speakers.
Great video, I miss what head unit you got. I thinkthe factory installed speakers has 0.5 Ohm impedance on my 2005 miata and the speakers in this video has 4 Ohm. Would you recommend replacing a 0.5 Ohm speaker with a 4 Ohm?

Thank you for the great words!

Thank you for the feedback. That was my goal!
Good tutorial. Was almost exactly the same for the MX5 Euphonic except for the connectors and lack of speaker housing.
Thank you! im glad it helped!
Spot on helpful that was mate. Nice touch on taking the spades out the plug too! Have subscribed! 👊😎
Thanks. Watched a few videos before. Yours is the best and direct 👌🏼✨
Thank you! I try to make videos that help people and can offer abit of entertainment!

Good shout, I think this will make a good difference as the MX-5's door are very hollow.

This is all with the factory head-unit.
Does it make any difference if you glue the new speakers in or not?
Some say it may give a better seal to force the sound out of the door. But i would use some sticky foam tape rather than glue.
