While watching this early Paul Klipsch interview I am reminded of the great Leo Fender, creator of the Fender Guitar. Both men seem to have been driven in a similar way.
Paul was a genius and a great engineer. I don’t use Klipschorns but I do use corner horns that are fully front loaded horn, bass and mid/high, Altec 820s and his analysis of placing speakers in the corner are absolutely spot on as far as loading the room and imagining.
The Paramount Theatre in Seattle has Klipsch Voice of the theater. Big black boxes on both sides of the stage for use I think in the PA system. Giddy Lee of Rush sounded so good there.
