Keys of Death and Hell: The death of Jesus Christ as a Key

Jesus Christ when he died went to hell to take the keys of Death and Hell. When we eat the bread and drink the cup of the Lord we remind the Devil that he no longer has power over us. We remind the death and hell that they have no power over us. Jesus is the victory that has overcome the world through His death and the shading of His Blood. Eating the bread and drinking the blood of Jesus you dismiss the influence of death and hell.
