    This was a frenetic, but steady pace game by both teams. Marquette had 5 guys in double figures, including Ross off the bench, but they have to be able rebound the ball against bigger frontcourts. N.C. State is tougher on the boards, so they must get a firm hold on Burns inside

    with that tough loss, Arizona is now the only Pac-12 team remaining in its last year in the tournament. also: think the committee should reevaluate how they view the Big East. conference realignment may exist but they’re still elite

    • @keithgupton9349
      @keithgupton9349 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Realignment? The Big East Conference is made up of basketball only schools with the exception of UConn. Realignment was for the most part about football. Not sure how that would have an impact on the Big East Conference? Unless there's something I'm not aware of.

    • @GoatedAtNFS

      @@keithgupton9349well it’s across all sports-even if everything is football driven
      what it’ll do is 2 things
      - more teams from the Big-12 B1G and SEC will get in when they shouldn’t be in (teams like virginia) and could skew some bias like how we saw from the SEC this year
      - at large mid majors will have to work even harder to get in if they don’t win their conference (teams from A10 AAC MVC MW WCC) and Indiana State MISSED the tournament this year and was NET ranked in the top 30. no NET top 30 team has missed the tournament EVER until this year.

    • @keithgupton9349
      @keithgupton9349 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@GoatedAtNFS okay under that scenario I see how it could have some impact on the non football schools. But I figure a way to combat that is the non football schools in let's say the Big East will have to schedule more non conference games vs the Big Ten plus, ACC, and possibly the SEC. beating those teams head to head does help your NCAA resume come selection day. But obviously there's no easy solution for a non football conference like the Big East. Oh well. Please enjoy the rest of the tournament.

    • @frankharris3159
      @frankharris3159 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@keithgupton9349the big football conference schools will be reluctant to do a home and home with competitive non-football conference schools for basketball games. They barely will schedule even home games with visiting competitive non-football schools.

      @@JJProdz123 watch him closely. You will see three, sometimes four steps in the paint often. You will also see him shuffle before he shoots those runners as well. It’s stuff a lot of other guards do too, but they’re much faster than he is so it’s harder to catch. Also watch Ighodaro. He has a tendency to bunny hop quite a bit. 7:50 in the video is a perfect example of that.
