The look of the old log cabins suit the wilderness better than the new ones. Dont like the outside look of the new ones, they remind me of a small shed lol
We love the Fort!! They should have refreshed them with a more rustic look!! The new cabins do not go with the whole theme and atmosphere of the Fort Wilderness . Change is good…however the correct change is even better ! Anyway, love your videos ❤
We will miss these cabins as well. We have stayed there a few times, the new ones dont look like something we will go stay in. We just stayed at Wilderness Lodge over the 4th.. We enjoy that alot. Westgate River Ranch also! I hope you go back there soon.
I’ve only been to Disney World once. It was in 2006 and I was a 24 year old mom of two little babes… We went the first or second week of December and got to watch Regis and Kelly film the Disney Christmas parade. 😆 I think we stayed for six days and it was the most amazing magical experience I’ve ever had, and we stayed at the Cabins. My kids are 18 and 20 now (and I’ve added a couple more to the mix!) but this just makes me sad because not only are my memories fading with time- the actual places have changed so much. (As one would expect in 18 years time but you know… 😂)
Just love hanging with you guys such a beautiful family I never been to the cabins but they look nostalgic and I think the new ones look smaller I dunno and Jenn I'm with you on the pillow from home Stand. I get upset if I leave mine home ❤
Quick service dining plan works well at Saratoga Springs (bc of proximity to Disney Springs) and the monorail resorts. It also is nice if you plan a park-heavy trip. Also, part of the savings is being able to use your refillable mugs, which is not convenient at all when staying at the Fort.
Jen try this with jasmine rice use red leaf lettuce take one big leaf spread Korean bean paste on it put sticky rice on it then roll it up u will love it if u like the sea weed and rice 😊
My family and I stayed in a tiny home in Pigeon Forge when we last went to Dollywood, and it was basically a cabin with a metal roof. It STORMED like crazy all night, even had hail. I thought for sure it would wake our 4 year old who was sleeping on the top bunk. She said did wake up but she loved the sound!
Saw a tour of the new cabins. I wish they'd kept the log cabin exterior look, but I have to say the bathrooms are a huge upgrade, and they still have rustic decor.
I never got the hype of the old cabins. The one and only time we stayed there was for a “staycation” weekend. Our cabin was dirty & musty and the pull out bed was not in good condition. Definitely got one caked in dust like Tim mentioned. They did need an upgrade at least. I do think maybe they were good for families with small children but we stayed as 4 adults and the beds weren’t made for that. I guess I can definitely understand the nostalgia & if your family is big into cabin camping!
Tim we actually love the dining plan. We have had it both ways, meaning, we have paid extra for it and we have gotten it free during the free offerings time frame. We will be down in the first week of September and we will have the quick service dining plan. We are paying extra in our package for it, but it really wasn't much extra per person. We are staying at All Star Music, which is our "go to" resort. We have stayed there at least 15 times since 2000. We aren't big on the sit down restaurants so we opt for the quick service plan. But we are planning on eating at Woody's Rodeo Roundup this trip. (Is that the correct name)? Anyway, I love the old cabins. I wish they would just update them. Oh and my wife and I canoed once through the canals at Ft. Wilderness.
I like the look of the old cabins on the outside, they look like how a cabin should look the new ones don't but interested to see what the new ones look like inside
If I was CEO of Disney - I would have made the new cabins like the old cabins look “ Outside “ / Also I would put the new cabins on property where was river country used to be & I would have the new cabins- available for everyone to use.
i knew it! I knew yall was gonna be at the fort for the 4th😂 We actually have a brand new cabin for a week in October, so excited 🎃 it will be our first time staying in any cabin We used to camp in an Rv when I was younger at the fort, such wonderful memories of River Country 😢
I think maybe part of why the new cabins look smaller is they don’t appear to have as much decking to ‘spread out’ their footprint as much as the old ones?? I’m very curious on the exact square feet lol.
I'm wondering if they'll put in different sizes of the new cabins. It would make sense. I always wanted to stay in the old ones. Looks like I'm not going to make it before they are gone. So I'll just have to watch your vlogs. Thanks so much!
The new cabins sit on the same footprint as the previous cabins so are same square footage - 504 square feet. I thought they looked smaller as well but thought it was because of the color.
Yeah, you guys actually Own that golf cart now outright, so with that in mind, you could conceivably start building a collection of curious different golf cart decorating items for Any of the holidays that you think you want to go camping there and bring the golf cart with you. I know you've shown in the past where people will go to Fort Wilderness and decorate both their Campground site, with inflatables & figures, And their golf carts if they have them and bring them for At Least Halloween, Christmas, and July 4th, I'm not As sure about any of the Other holidays that get celebrated, like Easter, Valentines, St., Patrick's, Memorial Day, Labor Day, or Thanksgiving, although some people may do that too if they're there.
I wanna do a staycation there during spooky season one time.. 😭 The new cabins look really nice but the fact that they are smaller is a bit of a disappointment. We can only judge when we see the interior. 😊 can’t wait for your upcoming stay there at the new cabins 👏🏼
I hate to say it but the new "cabins" look more like single wide trailers than cabins. I've stayed in the cabins back in the late 80s and it was awesome.
Every time Tim says “Jenn and Jackson” my brain thinks he said Janet Jackson, even though I know he didn’t lol.
😂😂😂
😂😂 I hear it!
😂 same.
Same! 😂
Oh I'm not alone 😂😂😂
17:10 Oliver waving when Tim said ‘say goodnight everybody’ was so adorable!
I like the look of the old cabins on the outside, they look like how a cabin should look. New ones look like those tiny homes. tfs
Yes
The new ones to me look like half of double wide manufacturered home.
It’s disappointing, they look nothing like cabins!
I like the old style cabin.
The cabin in the woods ‘ sounds like horror film lol 😆
I saw people buying these cabins with nearly everything in them. How cool would that be to own such an awesome piece of disney nostalgia!
Wouldn’t that be cool to stay in one. I bet they are pricy though.
They sell them online, and delivery included for $50k furnished, too.
The old cabins look better. It looks like you’re camping!!!
Thank you for doing one last stay in the old cabins
They look like mini mobile homes, they dont go with the aestetic of "wilderness"
Jenn!! The music for the drive to the fort was 🔥. Your editing is so enjoyable! Just thought you should know!
Thank you!! 🥰 I appreciate that! - Jenn
This was like a Jenn vlog, and I loved it!
The new ones look like half of a double wide manufacturered home.
Every time I hear Tim saying Jen and Jackson, I hear Janet Jackson lol Love your videos
Tracker needs a Fort Wilderness T-shirt for the next merch, so many wonderful family memories
Jenn, I love that you started singing the theme song to Three’s Company 😂
Can’t wait to see the rest of your stay at the cabins. 🤗
The look of the old log cabins suit the wilderness better than the new ones. Dont like the outside look of the new ones, they remind me of a small shed lol
I agree with you, the new cabins just doesn't fit, now if they would of done them more rustic theming, inside and out than maybe they would be better.
the old cabins look better on the outside compared to the new ones. New ones look cheaper imo
The new cabins look more like mobile homes...
Yes, they look more out dated than the old ones. I wonder if they will do anything to the exterior to make them look nicer.
We love the Fort!! They should have refreshed them with a more rustic look!! The new cabins do not go with the whole theme and atmosphere of the Fort Wilderness . Change is good…however the correct change is even better ! Anyway, love your videos ❤
Disney should keep half the cabins in the vintage style.
Jenn singing threes company. :D Love you guys!
I stayed in one of these in the late 1980’s and I remember the kitchen being at the back (to the right when you walk in)
Yep and you are right
My 1st WDW stay was in the cabins in 1989. Sad to see them go, I have some found memories of that 1st trip.
We will miss these cabins as well. We have stayed there a few times, the new ones dont look like something we will go stay in. We just stayed at Wilderness Lodge over the 4th.. We enjoy that alot. Westgate River Ranch also! I hope you go back there soon.
Jenn I always wanted a rug from Wilderness Lodge. Thanks for taking us along with you ❤
😊 I am excited to see the new cabins 😊 Really great video. We are super interested in the quick serve so it’s great to see all the tips before we do ❤
We loved the cabins.

Love the old cabins and am excited to see the new ones! 🏕️ Great vlog!!
I remember when you guys went on the horse and buggy. Jackson loved it and was not happy getting off!😊
I feel like a resort like Coronado Springs is best for Quick Service dining. They have a really good QS restaurant. Or maybe Port Orleans Riverside.
GOODBYE OLD CABINS!
THE NEW CABINS LOOK LIKE MOBILE HOMES!
I love to stay here. I will miss the old cabins.
Just love hanging with you guys such a beautiful family I never been to the cabins but they look nostalgic and I think the new ones look smaller I dunno and Jenn I'm with you on the pillow from home Stand. I get upset if I leave mine home ❤

"Ursula loves America" was so great
Thank you for sharing and I see Oliver has a mouthful of teeth 🦷 now 😊. Can’t wait to see the new cabins ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So excited! I was waiting for your Fort Cabins series! 🏕️

Totally wish I could buy one

Jenn!! What brand of sandals does Jackson have on??!! I need those for my little guy!! I love the Fort Wilderness videos!!!!
Tim we actually love the dining plan. We have had it both ways, meaning, we have paid extra for it and we have gotten it free during the free offerings time frame. Not a fan of the outside of the new “cabins”. It’s just half a double wide trailer.
Online says says both the old and new have around the same sq ft of between 500 and 527 sq ft for each cabin
Loved staying at Ft Wilderness. They should keep half cabins old style and half with the new for a choice.
I like the look of the old cabins on the outside, they look like how a cabin should look the new ones don't but interested to see what the new ones look like inside
I think you could rent a trailer from uhaul to carry the golf cart.
Just admit it. Ya'll love the Fort Wilderness resort just as much as us people who go yearly 😂.
hi tim, jen, Jackson and Oliver i do love yjhe cabins the new ones are cool too 🐦
If I was CEO of Disney - I would have made the new cabins like the old cabins look “ Outside “ / Also I would put the new cabins on property where was river country used to be & I would have the new cabins- available for everyone to use.
i knew it! I knew yall was gonna be at the fort for the 4th😂 We actually have a brand new cabin for a week in October, so excited 🎃
it will be our first time staying in any cabin We used to camp in an Rv when I was younger at the fort, such wonderful memories of River Country 😢
Thanks Lori!
Oliver exploring the cabin by himself while Tim is filming 🥰
14:37 Oliver calling the horse 🐴 a duck 🦆 lol 😂
@@ChinaDollTravels it says rawr
same. Made my week and him mimicking the horse sound from Tim😆. Oliver says "it´s not Percheron horse it´s a new breed called "duck horse", so cute😊
May I ask, what pillows do y’all use? I’m forever trying to find a good pillow that’s comfortable but still sturdy if that makes sense. Please share!
I think maybe part of why the new cabins look smaller is they don’t appear to have as much decking to ‘spread out’ their footprint as much as the old ones?? I’m very curious on the exact square feet lol.
Love the new channel designs!
You should put Jackson in gymnastics! He’s at a good age to get involved. He would like to walk on balance beans. They have low ground level ones.
Did any of the old cabins have murphy beds that dropped down in the living room off the tv wall? I remember as a kid sleeping in one.
Happy Thursday Tim!
You guys should bring your own golf cart to the fort. Renting a u haul trailer would be like $60 to $80 for the weekend.
I was wondering why they don't have the one they bought
You should buy 2 cabins and mush them together and double the size
I'm wondering if they'll put in different sizes of the new cabins. It would make sense. I always wanted to stay in the old ones. Looks like I'm not going to make it before they are gone. So I'll just have to watch your vlogs. Thanks so much!
Fort Wilderness reminds me of the Disney Show BUNK’D 😂🌲
I love this blog. Jeanne and Scott Stark Clearwater Florida , Your next-door neighbors
Ursula loves America 😂
We are watching ur vlog and it sounds like u are going to have a fun time
The new cabins sit on the same footprint as the previous cabins so are same square footage - 504 square feet. I thought they looked smaller as well but thought it was because of the color.
someone should buy them and make an air b and b near disney
TIM, do your glasses take photo and video? I'm not sure if you've covered this in other videos. thankyou.
I’m sad these cabins are going away because I never got a chance to stay in one. 😢
they separate the loo from the bathroom on the cruise line, but not in 6 person cabins?? that seems odd.
I thought you guys were going to trailer your own golf cart to Fort Wilderness?
Yeah, you guys actually Own that golf cart now outright, so with that in mind, you could conceivably start building a collection of curious different golf cart decorating items for Any of the holidays that you think you want to go camping there and bring the golf cart with you. Jen, in your defence I get dizzy riding backwards.
I was there 2 weeks ago at fort wilderness. I missed u guys dang it
I’m liking how there remodeling the cabins everything has to be updated
The new cabins look a little weird on the outside. I’m very interested to see what the inside is like!
I wanna do a staycation there during spooky season one time.. 😭 The new cabins look really nice but the fact that they are smaller is a bit of a disappointment. We can only judge when we see the interior. 😊 can’t wait for your upcoming stay there at the new cabins 👏🏼
Where’s the new golf cart? That thing is sweet!
How much are they selling the cabins for ? Loved video ❤
What has been your favorite resort at WDW? Like absolute favorite there is no comparison!
Yayyyy
Such a great idea
whats happening with the old cabbins at walt disney world
How much are the cabins to buy?
You could rent a trailer for Charlie!
“I really like corn(bread)!” 🌽
Didn’t u film the golf cart parade? Where is that video?
I don't like to go backwards either🤣
Could you buy a couple pieces of the decor in the old cabin?
If you buy the cabin yes. They are being sold with everything in them.
This video needs more jokes about eating barbecue in the bathroom! Dying to know if the new cabins have two toilet paper holders! 😂😂😂
We’re turning one of the cabins into an Airbnb on the lake in East Tennessee! Once it’s done we’d love to host you all!
Those NEW cabins definitely look smaller 😬
I hate to say it but the new "cabins" look more like single wide trailers than cabins. I've stayed in the cabins back in the late 80s and it was awesome.
You guys are so inspiring to me after 6 years of watching yall ❤️
Do you think they will ever do 2 bedroom cabins?
