- Have you been to the Pokémon Café (ポケモンカフェ)? It's floor to ceiling Pokémon, Pokémon, Pokémon!! You get to enjoy delicious Pokémon themed food and drink, enjoy café only artwork, purchase Pokémon Café exclusive merchandise, dining next to the ever popular Pikachu, & more; including a visit from a bigger than life Pokémon mascot! You'll see all this and more from our visit to the Pokémon Café at Nihonbashi in Tokyo during our May 2023 trip. The café is located next to the Pokémon Center (ポケモンセンター).
This time we were there when they started a new Pokémon themed Chinese food menu, including Pikachu ramen! We even got to see Pikachu in a brand new outfit!
Need directions to the Pokémon Café? We have directions for your at the end of our video from Nihombashi Station, the train station closest to the café, so you can easily get to the café and won't get lost underground in the station.

Going to Japan is on my bucket list, so I'll definitely use that information when I go someday!
We're happy it'll help! It does get a little confusing when you go up to street level immediately after you get to the station.

@@KariAustin39 hmm, my favorite Pokémon type is Fighting Cuz most of my favorite Pokémon are fighting type, But my main favorite one is Armarouge because I love how his shoulder guards turn into a Gun/Cannon

For Kari her favorite is Mew & Eevee. For me it would be Dragonite and Darkrai.

2. When your signing a reservation what is the maximum number of people you can bring to the Cafe
@@B33HIVE The food is OK, tasty but not amazing. We go there for the Pokémon themed food and seeing the mascot at the end of our time there, whether it be a Pikachu or Eevee. Sometimes for the sheer cuteness of the food available lol.
The themed cafés are for fans to enjoy their fandom with food and limited edition café merchandise. Some menu items are are better than others, taste is subjective though.
The maximum allotted together with combined tables is 8 people. For 9 people or more people they suggest dividing the group into 2 and make the reservation under the same name and seating area so they know the two groups are together. No guarantee the two groups will be next to each other but they'll try the best they can.

Huh, I didn't know there was a Chinese style theme for the Pokémon café? I didn't know about the reservations so I'm assuming no walk-ins for the restaurant?
its for organizational reasons on why they need reservations cause it gets prettyy packed in ther eif no reservations
The Chinese theme started last month! It's the first time they've done it. There are walk-ins but you need to be lucky as it depends on people cancelling their reservations or being no shows. Reservations are highly recommended.
