- Twenty One Pilots performing "Slowtown" Live @ The Basement on 1-28-11 in Columbus, Ohio. Hands down one the craziest performances of slowtown that i've ever seen by twenty one pilots!! At the 4:05 mark is the breakdown of the song and everybody just goes insane!! Not one person in the building was standing still. By the 4:10 mark, Tyler Joseph is standing on the piano goin insane and jammin out! One of the best moments of the night for sure! I got a nice little laugh during the 4:22 mark as somebody says "Ohhh my lord!! It sooo hott!! Ohh My God!!" lol.. Which i fully agree with.. And i'm talkin about both the performance and temperature inside that place! lol.. I don't think i've ever been soo hot in my life! Everybody jammed tight together with no place to move and everybody sweatin all over each other. Its what a show should be like! Very intimate! i'm crying. this was the first twenty one pilots concert i ever went to. my aunt and uncle live in columbus and they've been fans of twenty one pilots since the beginning. they have all the albums, even self titled and regional. when we were visiting them, they told us about this concert and if i wanted to go. i didn't know who they were. throughout this whole concert, i was in awe. these songs have had so much meaning in my life and i'm happy to know that i've been there after six years.

I WAD SO HAPPY AND I LOVED THE EMOTION IN THE PERFORMANCE... THEN I NOTICED THE RUBBER BAND. I just started crying, even though he doesn't wear it anymore. But just to think that his demons almost won, is terrifying.

I don’t know if I’ve said this already or commented on another video but thank you so much for recording the early years of twenty one pilots. This content is gold and I love seeing it, I’ve seen them live 3 times last year but there’s something special about shows like this one, a special type of energy that I don’t think could ever be matched.

I keep coming back to this video almost daily, I love how in tune every one is, how they’re all clearly into them and how the boys are giving it their all. And once again I wish nick would’ve stayed in the band
This video right here truly encapsulates the essence and meaning of the title to their second album, Regional at Best, because no matter how big they get Regional is the highest they can go.

The newer albums have an amazing studio quality, but that raw feeling Regional has just kills me, it's so pure and I love it so much
@@LastPrismAlex totally agree, and people don’t seem to understand that. This album gets so much unnecessary hate because of the quality and production. But that’s one of the main reasons why I love it, because all I can picture is a young Tyler Joseph with lots of passion and dedication but not enough resources. And that’s totally fine he did his best with what he had and that’s all I could ask for. I wish people would realize this because this album is truly amazing but underrated, even by the most hardcore fans of twenty one pilots.

Mattis Kristian it was their first show outside of their home state Ohio, so maybe not a lot people knew about them. Also worth noting that not everyone in the crowd in this particular video knew them, and they would often play with different bands in the same venue, Tyler would sometimes say “stick around more bands will come”
