I think he was still upset about having his face destroyed by Rempe. Can’t really blame him, the guy had a tough time of it out there and credit to him for taking on the much larger Trouba
No way he was in a vulnerable position before and after the hit I get it the kid is tryna make an impression and fire up his team but that was a bad time to make a hit. If Bastian hunched over in the middle of the hit it'd be fine but he was hunched over before the hit came gotta take body position instead of throwing a huge hit like that
@@mr.devil9577 As a Rangers fan, I agree with this. You've got to adjust your body when a guy is hunched over playing the puck and you're several strides away. Regardless of how big Rempe is and where his shoulder aligns with a smaller player's head, you can't just smash a guy's face when you have time to pull up or angle off.

You think the Devils broadcast on TV is bad try listening to the horrible Devils radio broadcast Duo of Matt Lacglin & Chico Resch!! I mean talk about 😬😬😬😫😫😫😵😵💫. I think Lavi said it best. Rempe is just a huge guy. If he was six inches shorter there would've been no problem. Maybe he came in a little too quick but it's not like he was trying to hurt anyone.

The Devils have no idea how to use Timo Meier on offense and / or have no desire to use Timo Meier on offense since he is not even a main guy for the team. The trade and his 8.8 mill a year contract is just insanity. I would have never thought in a million years that Timo could go from one of the worst NHL teams to NJ and his stats would go down the toilet.
I still hope NJ and Timo can make him into a point a game player but it is pretty obvious the current HC has no desire to use him like the sharks did.
As a sharks fan I would be happy to trade Mackenzie Blackwood or Kaapo Kahkonen to NJ for the right offer if you guys are interested?
This Devils team is almost as bad as their announcers. And thanks for keeping the hits and fights in, the NHL highlights and even the Rangers ones don't. The physicality is important to see, it shows how utterly dominated this small Devils team was. Very little fight or pushback in them at all, they look like the Rangers from the Gorton years.

Still burns my ass we lost to this bullshit devils team last year in round one. Totally tells you there was a locker room problem for our Rangers.
Well there doesn't seem to be a locker room problem this year! And that all stems from our head coach Peter Laviolette, the man who should be in contention for Coach of the Year!!(and the rest of the coaching staff). I for one still can't believe that Michael Peca, the ex Islander, is one of the assistant coaches on this team. It must've felt weird for him to be on the other side of things against his former team in the Stadium Series game last weekend.

What? Rangers only had 18 shots lol. Devils had the puck most of the game but the Rangers did a great job keeping em to the outside. Pk was money but that's not hard against a Devils pp that's autistic. Rangers had like 7 scoring chances and potted 5 of em they've always been that team always had the players to do so they never dominate play, shots or scoring chances
