What I find crazy is how Mike says he never lies. As a former addict myself, addicts find comfort in lies as a lot of the times it’s a lot easy to live in a warped reality than face the truth. I think that’s what Mike does, he lies without realising to further propel an image of himself which only causes him more crap
Addicts also usually refrain from any mind altering substance to consider themselves clean yet mike drinks all the time Mike's a bona-fide liar and I doubt he even had a heroin addiction

@@TheCrypticGamerLive Some but not all addicts. I am a “recovering” opiate addict, I drink from time to time/smoke weed because I never had issues with dependency on those the way I did with opiates. But, some addicts aren’t able to do that without becoming dependent & using it to replace whatever they kicked. Mind you, it took me 3 years of using nothing to feel comfortable trying to drink or smoke because I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t fall into the replacement cycle/enjoy that buzz so much that I’d end up back at square negative 100. It’s a personal choice thing, with that being said I do not believe he was ever an addict to the extent he claims to be. He’s an out doer kinda person, so one day he probably was talking to an actual addict & decided to say he was one too to get some sort of praise or whatever he’s looking for “because he got sober”🙄

I spent 16 yrs in active addiction. I have 5 yrs in recovery. Ive always had a hard time believing mikes addiction story.
Ive always felt that he used it as a bs tale he could use for sympathy, have a tale of growth and achievement - 'see what i overcame, you can to!', and he knew he could build a brand and business around it.
His story has NEVER felt genuine to me, and i say that as someone who DID live that life.
16 yrs active addiction. 10 yrs of it a needle junkie, opiates my dr*g of choice. Got clean. Went to nursing school. And now have 5 years in recovery, and doing the work i always wanted to do.
I hate to question anyones claim on sobriety, but i just never felt that mike was ever TRULY an addict. Like the rock bottom, living on the streets, using dirty needles junkie hes proclaimed.
Ive always felt he concocted that story cause he knew he could build on it, and build a brand around it.

Then hes DEFINITELY a dry drunk, and its only a matter of time before he relapses.
Dry drunks dont stay in sobriety long when they cant shake the shi*ty addict traits.
I love how the relationship between Mike and Lana didn't end cause of Lana's profession, but because of mostly (or entirely) Mike.

I read his book recently (1. It was a quid. 2. I had no idea it was about him when I bought it). For a man that only speaks the truth and is 100% honest about everything, he has certainly made a good life for himself by bullshitting from one situation to the next. Seriously, the book is about how he lied as a junkie, lied his way into rehab, lied his way into a job, lied his way into a better job, lied his way into Logan Paul's crew.

To be fair mike kind of helped Lana too. Just by being in his videos it kept her name relevant. The sight of her in his videos will trigger a response to seek more of her and thereby generating more income for her.
Even though Mike did already suck up a lot of attention from her fans that won't leave immediately, there still is a drop off factor.. the same goes for the logan situation.
