To me, this is more like a final battle for the heart of ender because it is fighting to defend itself and is failing to you, so I see it as from the heart of enders perspective
Or maybe the Heart of Ender is actually protecting Jean, the last Ender Dragon

@@anonymousguest6528MC Dungeons canonically takes place after Minecraft, so if anything, it is protecting an egg. If things get bad, HoE can just head to the end portal and duplicate the egg.

the heart started as the orb,(egg) then hatched into the caterpillar-like broken heart of ender (larva). the final stage is for is to remain in its void cocoon, and then hatch into the Ender Dragon.
