i understand not wanting to buy the rest of blue flag physically, but i personally really liked the serious and think it's definitely worth finishing somewhere down the road!!
You did great, Katie! It can be so hard to let go of books that have been enjoyed, but I'm sure it feels fantastic to have space to bring in some (hopefully) new favorites! Hope you have a wonderful week! 💕
60 is awesome. I've been doing a very slow multiyear declutter of my bookshelves that ramped up earlier this year and is now totally stalled. I've never done more than about 12 at a time. also - I love your butterfly top!
Getting rid of books is actually very great feeling Hahaha so happy you’ve got rid of so many❤ Thanks for that we can focus on what we actually want to read.❤
Just stumbled upon this video and firstly I just have to say I LOVE your shirt. So pretty! Unhauls feel so good - I think I sometimes get rid of too many books because I enjoy removing anything i didnt love or want to read again. But at least my shelves make me happy to look at because of it so
I just got ride of my CBT stuff after holding onto it for 10 years. I have found some great resource support on line so didn’t need it on my bookshelf any more. You did great🎉❤
Also agree with daughter of the moon goddess and the 2nd book!! It was my fav book of January and I was let down by book 2, but I still have book 1 on my shelves
Not gonna lie, Circe hurts a little bit 🤣 I personally think it’s much better than The Song of Achilles, but if you don’t think fiction based on mythology is your thing, then you might as well pass it on. 😁 I love an unhaul!
Circe isn't like Song of Achilles, IMO. It's just some woman with a messed-up family who ends up defending herself in any ways the male-dominated society will allow. But with occasional magic (which she doesn't have much of - this weakness/disability is what drives the tension). Didn't even get thru Achilles, but enjoyed Circe a lot.
I've started slowly unpacking my books, after 5 years there's certainly some titles I've not missed. I'll be getting rid of some for sure. The ones I'm not sure about are a lot of my childhood picture books that star characters with my dead name and I'm torn about holding onto happy memories & moving on to the person I am now.
Ok now I'm halfway through and A Tale for The Time Being is one of my absolute favourite books! Also unrelated but I wonder if anyone had one Tarot channel to recommend?
Ill defend Half a Soul by saying that it is like regency, and mystery mixed with howls moving castle, if that sounds like your vibe then please try it!!
I actually liked earthlings and convenient store woman but i haven't read the other one . I need to find it. And i need to get the others in physical form😊😅
I 100% agree with wanting my shelves to be my favorites and opportunities for favorites, not everything I've ever read 🎉 12:00

So true!
I wanna read Circe even if I don't like Song Of Achilles.
Your shelves are beautiful. 😍
Thank you!

I was so disappointed in book two!! I’m still not over it! 😅

yes, I gasped at circe, lol. it's very lyrical, so you probably really need to be in the mood.
I think you may have convinced me to give it a go!
omg, Katey! you hadn´t appeared in my yt homepage in like 3 years! I thought you had fully stopped after that break you took
Hello! Yes, I’m still here! 😅❤️

PS Cool shirt!
Thank you for that. I may just have to give it a try afterall!
You’re making me want to organize my shelves!

Ahh those decisions are always tricky! I hope you're settling in okay!
