If the ice goes away I will go out on the sea. Last winter ❄️ it was no ice. So you can have a look at the videos from that winter. The defroster works great so you have heat from the engines when driving.
@@grindene I checked your last year winter videos already earlier. Beautiful videos. I’ll get my brand new Targa 32 somewhere in Feb - Mar. Hopefully ice is then gone.
@@jrannikk the harbour is isfree thanks to bobbles:) So when the ice is a outside the harbour the Targa stays in its ice free spot. I do not think the stern drives would like ice.
@@grindene will be looking to purchase a Botnia Targa 46 hopefully a 3 cabin in the new year, I will look forward to a visit to see you in the near future then lars.
@@grindene I have been trying to figure out if air heater/frostvakt combined with heated cables around sea water intake/genomföringar might be a solution. Which components do you use?
Yes, I get more speed when the water temp is cooler. It is dont think it is the air temp that helps the speed but the water temp. And when the engine is cold it uses a lot more diesel, so in winter time the consumption is a lot higher the first 10-15 min, but when engine is warm the difference is less.
Great video!
Thx😄
I'm taking my Targa32 out for a winter spin tomorrow Jersey to Carteret for lunch Winter boating
Have a nice trip:)
Truly a all season boat Lars. On the Leangbukten Webcam, all boats are now in there winter cover, only a Targa is without cover, it's yours a think. 😃
Thanks for the great video. Would be great to hear more on boating with Targa during the winter.

A merry Christmas and a Happy New year lars to you and your family 🥰
Thx John. A Merry Christmas and Happy NEW year to you also. How is the boat project going?

@@johningham4942 wow. Look forward to your visit🚤
Do you do anything special with the sea water cooling part during winter?
No, but I have heating in the engine room to prevent freezing when the boat is not in use.

The boats name is Sisu?
That is correct:)
Do you have Finnish friends or how come you pick that up?😊
My girlfriend came up with the name so she is good:).
With colder denser winter air do you notice any benefits to performance or fuel burn?
