I have quite a few of these figures, and I have to say the main thing that bugs me with all the hobbit figures is that WETA put WAAAYYY to much brown paint on to emphasis the hair on their feet, it looks way off .... a light light brushing would make them look way less odd, as comparing to the movies, their feet never look like they are wearing a small rug on the top of their feet. You have an awesome collection Josh.
That’s always been a little bit of an issue on any Hobbit piece. I’m not sure why. My guess is because of how it has to be sculpted. I can’t disagree that it’s not something I’ve noticed over the years. Thank you! That’s very kind of you to say.
I think Arwen's face sculpt is really bad to be honest. They made it look like a blow up doll. It was my biggest hold up to ordering. I have Ringwraith on order and he may stay solo.
I hate to disagree with you Josh on the painting of Frodo. As a cardiac RN the pasty color is lifeless and spot on. Life is leaving him. He was dirty in the movie from the big and Weathertop.

Stardust most of the time they’re not bad. That night they were a bit more noisy than I’d like but unfortunately it’s part of the deal. I love doing these outside and I get really good light there.
@@ElessarTORn Just a thought: maybe you can shoot the footage but edit the sound out and do a voice over on the footage so you don't have all the extra noice?

I think the issue there is the not painting the inside of the mouth. Otherwise I quite like the sculpt.
Wouldn’t it be super easy to dab a tiny amount of black paint in there?
