This is the most packed video i have ever seen regarding invaluable yogic techniques and states. Every sloka and sentence truly made sense and now i understand the true value of what u give. i will write down the things i understood from this video so that i can install and automate them in my system. pranam .
    Pre-Samadhi
    1. Vaitrishna: control over and going beyond desperation caused by unrealistic expectation. Knowing yourself and your capabilities thoroughly to develop a thorough self image
    .
2.Vashikara: control over and going beyond the subject and information recieved
    3. Vairagya: control over and going beyond the inferior ragas(desperation, greed, lust etc) which causes imbalance and agitation not conducive for spiritual growth.Vairagya comes through developing and mastering vaitrishna and vashikara state
    4. stithbhumi : the state of being grounded in present reality (lakshmi) which comes after Vairagya.
    Samadhi Pada1

Meaning of Samadhi: Sama+adhi = The highest state of balanced energy humans can be established in. Peak performance, peak effectiveness, peak health, peak efficiency.
    1. conscious Samadhi : achieved through 4 paths (written in ascending order of effectiveness) : through vitarka (logical analysis),
through vichara (collecting inspiring attributes by contemplating on exalted characters and their stories),
through ananda ( enthusiasm, joyfullness, cheerfullness which comes through cultivating virya and prana and helping others),
through asmita (developing a tremendous self image and establishing it)
    2. autonomous Samadhi (where only the purest samskaras remain) : autonomous samadhi state achieved through certain techniques which are : A) stillness in movement: ultra conscious relaxed movement, body is in a state of rest , mind is in a state of absolute awareness. Akin to walking in a slippery slope where movements are precise and the mind is focused while the body is relaxed. This is a great way to cultivate virya.
    B) Bhava pratyayo(Staying embedded in reality) : to be encased in the present. The visualization is to be with the present as well as being surrounded by the present.like a sim card is in the phone and also surrounded by the phone. This state leads to communication with prakriti laya(elementals) and disembodied beings.
Sraddha:deep communication with deities. co creating with deities
virya: the sexual energy, the energy to produce another copy of yourself. To develop this through masturbation and sex the orgasmic energy needs to be cultivated and channeled upwards so the virya increases. Another method is the stillness in movement method. Virya is easily lost through arguments, disagreements and not completing actions and reaching the end of your potential. lost throught the 9 holes of your body( ears, nostrils, mouth ,genital, anus, eyes)
Smriti:the ability to take a trip through your memories. MAstery over this is essential
pragna purvak: to have intense awareness and alertness is a essential requirement to attain mastery over these processes.
ishvara pranidhana: to gain prana from gods.
regarding ishvara pranidhana i have questions. is it through profound connection with the tattva of the specific god through visualization of their deeds and their murti, their mantra and their yantra? (eg: the hanuman chalisa videos u have released). Can it also be done by connecting with another character which strongly embodies the character of that deva? eg: dragon ball z. goku is a saiyan who are a humanoid warrior race with tails. they break their energy limits(ki) and reach higher and higher energy states through intense training and fighting .

Hi Chaitra, good to see you heard the podcast.
The word Antara can be used in multiple ways. Here it is to describe practice being Nairantarya which has a clear Sanskrit meaning of without breaks and in the 9 Antarayas it is to define the 9 gaps/obstacles.
      Nothing wrong.
Go through it again and think about if you're really in a position to offer a correction. Your knowledge vs A Himalayan Yogi with years of practice.
Better to be respectful and ask rather than correct.

Pranam Guru Pashupati ji , about being a vegetarian or non-vegetarian with due respect I strongly disagree with you , because first thing is if i only think about my health and not about the pain or torture that poor is going through then it's really selfish of me.
Second thing when we create demand then supplier do anything to meet demand which encourages ruthless breeding process in factories like set up where animals/chickens are treated like commodities.
Third thing I have been involved in rescuing animals like cows ,bulls , buffaloes, camels etc.
Cow is given very respectful place in Bharat since ancient times but you must see the way they are being stuffed in trucks for smuggling to slaughter, half of them die due to suffocation and bleeding with each other horns injury.
This is one of the kind of torture which I am writing there are many more like putting green chillies in their eyes during transportation.
    Killing pregnant cows for delicacy.
And why this all because of taste buds of some who can't live without having delicious meat.
There is a long list of such first hand experiences I had and still going on that I can write a book.
And this all is happening in Bhara.
I am also an ardent devotee and spiritual but what little I could learn and realised in my life is that if any jeev feels pain I also feel pain then how can I eat them or kill them.
    Thank you

Can you explain about nirvikalpa samadhi, astral & casual realm

    • @tomojittomojit
      @tomojittomojit 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Nirvikalpa Samadhi is a non-dualistic state of pure awareness, whereas the astral and causal realms involve different levels of dualistic experience (with the astral being more personal and emotional, and the causal being more abstract and formless).
Attainment: All three require advanced spiritual practices, but Nirvikalpa Samadhi is often seen as the ultimate goal of such practices, while the astral and causal realms are considered intermediate stages or planes of experience.
•Nature of Experience: Nirvikalpa Samadhi is a state of union with the divine, while the astral realm involves more dynamic, interactive experiences, and the causal realm involves experiences of pure principles and archetypes.
Each concept represents different aspects and stages of spiritual evolution and consciousness in various traditions.

Namaste Guruji. I have few questions about eating other beings for sustenance. I do eat hunted meat/wild caught fish but have some doubts about the below:
    1. Is it alright to eat farmed animals/fish who are not raised in their natural environment?
    2. If all beings are sentient beings and Krishna and Shiva treated them so, should we not treat them the same way instead of mass killing them for our benefit? (This question comes from personal guilt of eating them every time I see videos of ocean trawling and large scale animal farming)

Not saying meat is good or bad, however it is 100% tamasic. So if you want to have a Satvic mind and body then it’s good to be vegetarian. And if you want a tamasic mind and body then eat meat.

    • @sagnikpal9
      @sagnikpal9 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Why is tamas bad? It's just the stillness of nature(idk why stillness is associated with lack of energy or lazyness nowadays, maybe commie mindset). Every kinda of energy has its proper place and function and there's no duality of good or bad but only God.

    • @robothug6688

And whats tamasic diet relate to? Shiva. Satvic diet relates to vishnu.
I believe that we are made differently and meant to follow different paths. Like for example what is good for you is not exactly good for me.

    • @joyfool1225
      @joyfool1225 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

That is incorrect or a limited perspective.
If you have a rajasic body, vata prakriti, unstable mind, restless body, and so on, you might benefit tremendously from meat, so your body and mind become sattvic over some time because it creates balance.
You don't end up with a tamasic body or mind necessarily.
Let's always take the whole of all the concepts into consideration.

    • @movement-is-meditation1646

@@joyfool1225 I get what you’re saying. I can admit from recent learnings that what you’re saying is probably true. That doesn't mean that they have unconsciously moved into, asamprajnata Samadhi, it means that you are not conscious of being in Asamprajnata Samadhi, because the consciousness does not exist at this point, which is when it has been fully absorbed by Kundalini, and it can only be attained through asamprajnata Samadhi, which is a permement fully awake and concoouse state. from the moment it is attained,
There is no unconscious doubt when Samprajnsta Samadhi is reached, because this is the time Kundalini will arouse, because this is the start of the absorbsion process and Kundalini is that absorbsion, and a Master will soon appear after Samprajnsta, and just bring in his presents will arouse you, nothing else is needed,
The other Samadhis Patanjali is talking about, are the same Samadhi, but at different points of the Kundalini, absorbsion,
More pacifically the obsorbsion of the first three Chakras being fire Kundalini,
The second two up to the neck sun Kundalini, above the neck in the Ajna centre, moon Kundalini, above the head Samadhi Kundalini,.
And Patanjali as defined this as different Samadhis,
But really they are the same Samadhi at different stages of absorbsion,
The Samprajnsta, stage is when it has attributes, the Asamprajnata is when those attributes within the Chakras have been fully absorbed,
Then you are non Dual without consciousness,
Just in a state of Being.
