    Bought the T-fal set as it was the cheapest compared to other sets. I'm really happy with my purchase, just goes to show that pots and pans do not need to cost an arm and a leg. Their non-stick works really well and overall they just feel well made. Great choice!

    I researched a lot before pulling the trigger for the Ninja Foodi NeverStick Cookware Set, because, well they are not cheap at all! After looking around, I finally decided to make a good investment and buy long-lasting cookware. I was so right with my decision! The Ninja Foodi does exactly what it claims, its non-stick works great. I can say that it works great because I have been using this set daily since I got it a couple of months ago.

    I've been using the signature set of T-fal as I was on a budget, and I have to say they are holding up quite well especially for the price. They are not going to rock your world, they are not fancy types of cookware, they are just basic pots and pans and that was exactly what I was looking for.

    Since we were cooking at home almost all of the time because of Covid, we decided to get a new, more comprehensive set of pots and pans. After shopping around for a long time, we decided on the Anolon and we couldn't be happier! The 11 piece set is not terribly expensive and they are very sturdy. The silicone grips of pots feel exceptionally good, they don't slip and do not transfer any of the heat. Our only precaution for other buyers is that this set is not intended for a dishwasher, so wash this stuff with your hands!

    The Hexclad set is an awesome hybrid between stainless steel and non-stick. Another thing I really like is that they are incredibly easy to store because the handles have a pot rack hole, so they don't take up any space in the kitchen cupboards. The lids have steam went which is another great addition! Overall, I really like it!

    I'm a long time Calphalon user, so after my old pots and pans started to chip and discoloring (this happened after heavy use in 6 years!) I decided it was time to renew my set. Went with Calphalon again. No regrets, they are better than my old ones (the handles are a lot more ergonomic, the old ones were awkwardly long!). Great price for the buck!

    Rachael Ray set feels like something you would get at college when you're dipping your feet in the world of cooking. They are good, but they wouldn't stand the abuse of a seasoned chef. If you're new to cooking, I could recommend this. Another thing I like about the Rachael Ray set is its weight - all the cookware in this is seriously lightweight. I believe they'll hold up for a good 4 or 5 years, but afterwards could be needing a new set.

    At first, I couldn't get over the price for the Scanpan stainless steel set. But, since we have an induction cooktop and all other cookware had troubles with that (sticking, overheating in the handles) we decided to go ahead with the purchase. After using them, I can understand why they have such a high price. They are handmade in Denmark and definitely worth all the money they cost! If you have an induction cooktop, this is your go-to choice!

    KitchenAid needs no introduction, if you're into cooking you know how good they are. With their 10 piece set, they continue with providing quality. The non-stick coating is great and it's perfect for induction stovetops (but you could use it with a regular gas stovetop as well!). My only gripe is that the handles aren't the best when it comes to isolating the heat, I've had a couple of issues when the handles slightly burned me. So they could improve in that regard, but other than that it's the usual KitchenAid quality I'm used to!

    The Zwilling Forte set is simply amazing (and NOT made in China!). It distributes the heat evenly to all my foods and I have no complaints. Just don't use it with an induction cooktop as they are aluminum!

    What is the difference between sets that are aluminum and sets that are stainless steel? Are there any difference other than the way they look?

      Thanks for asking this question, I'm sure a lot of cooking newbies are getting confused by this as well! So the main difference is that you can use stainless steel cookware on an induction stove, whereas an aluminum set is not induction ready. Stainless steels are also, well, stainless. On the other hand, aluminum cookware could be stained after being used and washed a lot of times!

    I really like the Hexclad set but I'm a bit skeptical before spending so much money. Anyone here who has owned the Hexclad set (or any Hexclad wok or pan) for long time? Your feedback would be appreciated!

      I'm crazy for fried rice so the Hexclad set is my personal favorite out of all of them. After using them for over 6 months, the non-stick coating still works just as advertised. However, if you want the best out of your Hexclad woks, you should season them sometimes. If you use them every day, I'd suggest you seasoning them every other week, if not once every couple of months. If you do that, your wok will function just as new!

    Which one of these sets are dishwasher safe? I would hate it if my non stick coating did not last for a year!

    • @consumerbuddy5837
      @consumerbuddy5837  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As a general rule, if you'd like your non-stick coating lasting for a long, long time, don't wash your pots and pans in a dishwasher. Hand-washing your pots and pans will always make sure you get the most out of your non-stick coating. Other than the Calphalon and Anolon sets, all other sets claim that they are dishwasher safe but the general rule applies to them also. Reserve the dishwasher space for plates, glasses, and other utensils and wash your non-stick cookware by hand!

    Is the Calphalon set dishwasher safe? I really don't like handwashing stuff!

    • @consumerbuddy5837
      @consumerbuddy5837  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! Unfortunately, the Calphalon set is not dishwasher safe, if you try to wash it in the dishwasher you will see that its non-stick coating will begin to deteriorate a lot faster than it normally does. Anyone interested in the Calphalon set - do not wash them in the dishwasher, please!

    All of these producs are oven safe up to 500??

    • @consumerbuddy5837
      @consumerbuddy5837  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, all of these products are oven-safe but not all of them are rated at 500F. For example, the T-Fal set is rated for 350F, whereas the Rachael Ray set is rated for 400F. So make sure you take a look at them (if putting them in an oven is an important factor for you) before you make your final purchase! Thanks for watching the video!
