I'm from Ghana. I don't understand the words of this song, but this song moves me so much emotionally. When we were kids in Ghana we used to watch the attrocities meted out to black South Africans during the apartheid era. This song was always played in the background. I have since developed a powerfrul attachement to it, and I don't even understand it.
