The armor penetration is intentional (I think John said it himself) to be already available for 0-0, its just not obvious because I think they forgot to put it
The ignoring laser resistance is a different one, for the endless enemies like the resurrected laser gunners, and yes, its intentional too

Golden ranger uses lasers so it already ignores bullet resistance as it doesn’t shoot bullets

I think the auto conversion is what changes the golden ranger from attacking in a burst of shot to instead keep on shooting

Here are some tips (if it are useless Im sorry)
E-upgrade top path
R-upgrade bottom path
V-change tower target on right
C-change tower target on left
Backspace-sell tower
R-rotate tower
Q-de selected tower
1-6 select tower in Hotbare
G-towers ability
Shift-spam tower while shifting to spam the tower

4:10 It isnt broken, the tower just does laser damage. Both railgunner and golden jugg also do this from level 0-0, although for some reason laser gunner only starts doing laser damage on level 2-x. The top path ignores laser resistance, which is still a resistance but on different enimies, such as revived laser gunner.
I just thought it would say something or be an upgrade like laser gunner

Pro tip from someone who has grinded for everything (all but the new towers this update) either solo or with friends around my same skill level:
You can sell farms as the crates are falling on the last wave, and you get the cash from them as usual.
Also, If you are leaking a boss, spam stun baits nearby to trigger attacks, slowing them down.

Another tip: DO NOT let low hp towers stay in the battlefield sell them when their hp is at the red state if you master this skill it will help you save millions of dollars in endless
Top path is fully auto with more dps, while bottom path attacks in burst and has a ability that also affects bosses
That's an easy way to summarize the tower
You can win expert using only golden ranger in easy maps. G ranger and G jug both have armor piercing from base because they use lazer type bullets, lazer resistance is only seen in endless. And autoconversion changes from burst-type weapon to full auto

It deals laser type damage so it ignores bullet resistance but doesn’t ignore laser resistance until later, auto conversion means that it isn’t a burst anymore and it just shoots

Golden Ranger is Mainly used as an early tower in endless or expert it is meant to stun bosses with its ability at Bottom Path Max while Top Path maximizes its auto shooting hence the word "Auto Conversion" from the word itself converts it to auto shooting instead of bursts. Golden Ranger is really good at 2 - 2 cuz it deals around 40 dmg (10.t dmg per 1 burst but at 2 - 2 it has 4 burst so 4 x 10.5).

It can kill the bullet resistant enemies because its damage type is laser. Like laser gunner is laser and artillery is explosive type. It was added in this update.

imo its pretty good for early mid even late game, bottom path nades are real good and top path has a lot of dps (a bit expansive tho)
i can solo expert with basically just g ranger, arty, edj and bait so i think its worth it

Auto Conversion means automatic mod, and the gun never stops shooting. For example these firerates, 0.15 for cyro ranger, normal ranger, and 0.1 for golden ranger.

Pro tip i like to use
If your on easy/elite
Try to get 0-1 asap cuz then it 1 tape zombies
But for inter/expert
Go 2-0 then 2-2 for tanky enemies cuz unleas you go 3-2 or 2-3 it can only 2 tap normal enemies

The golden ranger uses laser bullets at base level so it can penetrate armoured enemies and auto conversion means it no longers uses burst (i think)

the tower is actually pretty good. its a much better lg that can be used for late game. and stunning bossing is OP. bare in mind its expensive to spam but if u just get 3 bottom paths you can chain the grenade

bro the 0-0 laser uses bullet and not laser the laser bullet type can attack enemies with armor penetration (2-0 laser)

absolutely NOT buy the turret its pure garbage, buy ranger its lasergunner but better (more range, more dps, more CE, more health, top path is great for early ane mid game and the bottom path is great for mid and late game)
