I'm not sure how people don't realise if the police officer had braked it could have caused a worse crash - i.e. there could have been a driver behind him that would've gone into the back of them or he himself would have gone straight into the back of the Clio. Instead the officer managed to get out partially in front of the Clio and didn't end up getting trapped between the barrier. A car behind him would've had to be going the same speed as the officer responding with lights and sirens in order to rear end him if he braked hard. I didn’t like the last statement from the police driver that hit the Clio when he said anyone in a collision with a police car should just accept it and say nothing. I have seen some very bad driving manoeuvres from police cars being driven under blue light situations, so if the police driver is in the wrong then that should be accepted as a possibility. In a lot of built up areas where they are often exceeding the speed limit and can often be double the speed limit which is blatantly very dangerous.

Two cops rushing at speed through traffic to a minor rear-end bump is not a safe response by the police! I once saw a police car screaming through Abingdon a few years ago, and when I passed the "incident" there was absolutely no reason why the police car had to bluelight it to get there. It was (again) a minor car collision and there was no issues about traffic just going round the two cars safely. There needs to be an enquiry about police potentially increasing the possibility of an incident occurring at a (unnecessarily high-speed) response when they could bluelight but maintain a safe speed to get to non-serious incidents.

Used car prices in the UK were outrageously low at this time which enabled shit like this to happen.
When it came to working out where the Primera was stopped, and even what country it was in, West Mercia is an English county, whereas Gwent is a Welsh one. The easy way of working out which county (or country) you would be in would have been the road sign just next to where the car was stopped, as the Overweight Vehicle sign was in both English and Welsh, indicating that it was in Wales, as both languages are used on Welsh road signs, whereas only English is used in England, but as the original offence was reported from West Mercia, would have thought that they would have wanted to handle it anyway..

Just watching the replays of red car vs police incident. Although the kid took it without consent, had no insurance and unsafely changed lanes there appsared to be enough distance/time for police car to hit breaks. The young man was wrong by law, the police driver appeared to have been in preventable accident. Big difference between preventable and statutory responsibility in motor vehicle accidents, but both can cause them.
The penalties for road traffic offences are clearly not severe enough when or if offenders are brought before the courts, no matter how minor - any accident should always result in an automatic lifetime driving ban, automatic cancellation of driving licence and insurance and automatic confiscation of the vehicle involved in the incident - absolute zero tolerance for even minor traffic offences is the only way to improve driving standards on the roads and is the only way to prevent major traffic accidents

A perfectly good car with only 75,000 miles at its last MOT. Could have served someone well for years but was bought by this pathetic loser, seized by police and then scrapped.
Great ending to a long long night.😊
He's an engineer 😅😅😅
It was his fault 100%
He shouldnt be in the car full stop
Sgt pc never seen youth that nonchalant?
Welcome to UK whole generations grown up taking no responsibility for their behaviour having no respect for the law .
Clio man: clue’s in the name. Khan is not caste-connected but there’s a high correlation with social superiority. And there’s no way that Range Rover is a write off. Sacrificial panels only.
2 min in and a cop hits the car😂
Just watching the replays of red car vs police incident. Although the kid took it without consent, had no insurance and unsafely changed lanes there appsared to be enough distance/time for police car to hit breaks. The young man was wrong by law, the police driver appeared to have been in preventable accident. Big difference between preventable and statutory responsibility in motor vehicle accidents, but both can cause them.
No way was that crash the coppers fault. uninsured, lock him up
Landrover driver is pathetic....lookin for someone to blame!!!!!
Hitting a coppa and not insured 😂
Google maps boys 😂
Go to 11.45 for the best looking police man❤️
From 8.15
When was this filmed?
2010ish looking at the cars
Around 2008
2009. That was when they were with South Wales Police
The 17yo is being picked on . Yes I get the insurance part . But to be saying he crashed Into a police car is a bit far
Cops are protecting their egos
He did hit a police car are you blind
I would like to see you do a full book of game of thrones I like that ticket 😊
3 wheel nuts would never have sheered off at that speed 5-15mph on a short drive, ott cop
About 2010,judging by the police cars,08 and 07...
That’s totally unrealistic. A lifetime ban for a minor accident is ridiculous. There’d be no one left driving!
that was not a write-off
im finally god damn early.
fucking love the police officers putting their lives on the line to help the public. ❤
they deserve more respect.
it aint no black vs blue.
its race vs racists
there's a huge ass difference
at around 17.20 if did seem the cop went quite fast down the road
I think the officer has a little bit of blame for the crash with the 17 year old - he was following in the lane behind him and then moved out late to overtake while going much faster than the speed limit - cop should have some responsibility for how other drivers (especially new drivers) aren't anticipating that kind of erratic driving.
Rubbish. You hear a siren behind you and pull over to the LEFT! That young driver didn’t bother to use his side mirror, which is an offence in itself.
@@rosella1919or his rear view mirror , you can’t tell no one can hear those sirens , I hear them from a good few miles away and I continually watch my mirrors for them especially when they are coming up from behind .
man thinks he is driving in pakistan
5:00 Police car damaged.
🤔
16:58 Police car not damaged.
Because it was a different Police car!
