I wish this version of Spartacus was available somewhere in its entirety. Lantratov really looks the part of the ideal Roman and is very athletic. And Zakharova, what more can be said. Anything she appears in is always supreme.

I really prefer dancers like Kapsova, Krysanova, Obraztsova, more intensity, coordination.. She has a great physic but a lot of time lose right position, and something looks wrong.. Then for sure is a great ballerina, but far to be one of the best of this generation
Not in my opinion! She’s too damned skinny, and I feel sick watching her, as though I’m somehow contributing to her anorexia. It makes her arms so ugly, bc they’re nothing but bone.
Wow! They look like greek gods! In my hometown they only show modern dance (boring). I think this is because they can´t dance these classic ballets. It´s too difficult for them. That´s it.
Lantratov looks too “pretty” in the beginning when he does the arch leaps; most of the great danseurs I’ve watched in this part did gorgeous leaps, but they were explosive in this character’s signature move. And I have a hard time watching Zakharova dance in anything bc she’s just too damned skinny. It makes dancers unwatchable for me bc it’s just ugly.
That's just how her body is built. She's obviously not too skinny or she wouldn't have the strength to do all that. And saying "it's ugly" is going a step too far imo.

It was on youtube in HD in Jan 2019, parts 1,2 & 3. Can't see it now. Glad I downloaded it at the time.
Amazingly good, wth a natural advancement over time of technique, fitness, strength, even sheer beauty of being and movement. Bravo.
