Just did this install today. Your instructions where perfect. Took me about 5 hrs to complete both sides. After doing the first side, the other side was a lot easier. Fitment ain't bad, but there is a gap at the end of the lights, which is kind of annoying. Especially since water can enter more easily. Good idea to seal this area with some kind of rubber sealant. Much appreciated.:)
Your comment is spot on with the install in regards to the other side being much easier. Everyone seems to have that gap there. Some clear sealant should work. I left mine with the small gap and haven’t had issues with water yet, but I do park my car in a garage. Thanks for watching!

Does that bundle of wire that goes inside that rubber grommet the same line as the puddle lights wiring? Can we just tap it outside instead of going all the way in by were the plug and play connectors are?
Got a question, are these the same turn signals as the ones that do like a dance when you open the door? I don’t want drl on at all just want the dance thing to work when I open the door so guessing tap into the door light. Which wire would that he ?
Yea they have a sequential pattern when opening the door, but I think that’s only on v2. That sequence is standard after plugging the turn signal wires to the oem plug.
I have a question…so i dont want drl running all days..i just want it to function just with me unlock the door..so the drl and the puddle comes on wen i unlock or open the door just with the factory lights
Hey, so basically if you want the turn signal to flash like normal you'd wire that instead of the other wires. It elimates the sequential feature. You can cut it short or leave it laying in the mirror assembly.
When I wired it like this my windows don’t go up automatically like if I double click it up but they go fine down automatically did the same thing happen to yours, I wired it exactly how you did

I need some help. I think i messed up my wires because the "purple" wire for the DRL's now has no current and for some reason the gray wire next to it now has a current. When i try to connect them nothing happens. Additionally my window rolls up only in segments not continuously. Does anyone know a solution?
Did u ever figure out your window situation? I installed these mirror lights on my qx60 and had the same issue with windows. I had to replace my whole switch to get windows to work again.
Make sure you have continuity with the harness you made. Try tugging the wires you cut and connected maybe you have a loose connection. If you didnt use a posi tap like his then maybe the tap didnt have a proper connection. It happent to me today, i bought the clip on tap and the metal clip didnt puncture the insulation so it didnt have a proper connection. I had to strip some insulation to make it work. Cheers
@@ZillaFullBoost update: I removed them because my windows are all rolling down. I roll them back up and turn off my car. As I walk away an hour or 4 my windows will roll down. I know about the key fob thing but that was not triggering it.

Do you know why the drl stays on when the car is off and locked I plugged it to the purple wire but it stays on

Did you tap you tap into the power window harness for the DRL and power door locks harness for puddle lights?
The puddle lamp goes connected to the harness for the door handle. Taps into the puddle lamp off the door handle.

Good question, I’m not 100% sure but I believe it’s from another source by the hinges.

So don’t connect the blue wire to the purple. Try the blue wire to the same one for the puddle.

I don’t remember, it’s in the video. I think it’s brown and gray. One is positive the other is ground.

Instead of wiring the drl to the harness right behind the panel you wire the puddle wire to it.

You probably wired the resistor incorrectly. Watch some videos on that so it can help you understand it.
Can you turn the daytime running lights off on demand. Like when I shut the factory ones off by pressing the ebrake?

I plugged my lights into all the harness like said and I can’t get the lights to work beside the sequential.

No. Only thing that will work would be your Amber lights which are your sequentials. You won’t have the White DRL’s nor puddle lamps.
