In a surprising turn of events, Liverpool faced a tough defeat against Atalanta, currently placed sixth in Serie A, at Anfield. The Italians dominated with a 3-0 lead in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final clash.
Jurgen Klopp's team heavily relied on goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, who made some incredible saves in the first half, including one with his face. However, Atalanta's relentless attacks eventually broke through.
