It the Toaru movie. The whole franchise is of three separate animes, Toaru Majitsu no Index, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, and Toaru no Kagaku no Accelerator, with 3, 3 and 1 seasons respectively. In terms of the anime, its good, but its hard to get into. I recommend Railgun first (it starts slow, very slow) and then Index, then Accelerator. If you want them in order of what happens after what (because they play in the same timeframe) ask someone who is more bothered by that. It gets complicated. Giggug puts it well. But its worths a watch overall. Though, once you get into it, once on a forum, expect the sentence "the novels were better" to be common. They are, but that doesn't mean the anime is that shit. It is very good (up to season 3 of index, which is a little iffy.) But yeah, I am a fan, so this was a biased recommendation. P.S. the movie takes place between season 2 and 3 ish of the Index anime, and halfway through season two of Railgun. Again, complicated. I recommend watching it after watching both index and railgun, as characters from both shows make an appearance.

This wouldn't even register as an issue if everything else wasn't crisp and perfect. The action even matches the lyrics at some points, a few of which are ironic which makes it even better. And on top of all that beauty and perfection is clunky and distracting subtitles.
@@MrGantron414 I think my take was pretty well balanced. I sung the praises quite a lot, and called out how minor this issue really was. I think it's a fairly decent example of constructive feedback where I point to a concrete point for improvement. I never claimed I could do better, but that doesn't mean that my feedback can't help a creator improve even more. I want to see every artist in every discipline attain greater and more amazing heights, and feedback is a crucial part of that.

Calling an artist's work perfect is probably the worst thing you can tell them because then they never improve. I thought the subtitles were just as good as the rest of it. My own opinion.

I've probably watched it a couple DOZEN times. Eventually you start to notice even tiny things. I can sing along without the subtitles, so I have time to notice when they overlap themselves by a few frames. Doesn't stop me from loving the art.
