I sing in a band called Sounds Like A Lawsuit, and every show, I wear this fragrance. It's become my show signature scent. It fits because we have a 90s influence and I drink from a gas can on stage.
Thank you. your review is the most accurate I have heard and I have heard a lot. Ironically, I have recently tried this fragrance as a sample in a store. It really struck me as very odd and almost off-putting. Very weird opening. Once it began to dry down, the leather started to pop and that gasoline smell crept in, but it was oddly attractive. I asked two ladies working at the counter to smell it on my skin to get their opinion. Both of them reacted extremely positively. They loved it, not liked it...loved it! I’m trying to decide whether to spend the $50 on it or not. I will likely go back to the store to try the sample one more time before I buy it...if I decide to buy it.
Nice video Pep. You described this masterpiece perfectly. Funny story. My 17 year old son wore this on a night out cause he smelled it on me and he went crazy about it, so the next day he said to me: Dad, girls really loved this one. I bought him a bottle the same day. Thats my son!😀
Thanks for another great review of another fragrance masterpiece Pep. I first smelt Fahrenheit in the early 1990s and it was love at first smell - it was unique, intoxicating and beautiful. I had an intense love affair with Fahreneit and we were inseparable for about two years. I then discovered other fragrances such as Eau Sauvage and Chanel Platinum Egoiste. I bought a bottle of it in 2016 and I still enjoyed wearing it, but I didn't adore it the way I once did. Perhaps, I wore it too much. I can still appreciate it and it's undoubtedly a classic fragrance.
A floral leather is EXACTLY how I've been describing it Pep! The formulation I have is quite dense and gives off a rather saturated sillage. Easily my most commented on (not necessarily complimented lol) fragrance to date. Equally by men and women mind you...
To me this smells almost exactly like a leather tracksuit after a long motorbike ride. Leather, exhaust gas and a bit of motor oil... love it so much 🙌
Fahrenheit = My all time fave frag. I adore the petroleum note. Sadly tho, it doesnt seem to last on me these days. Altho, you get the brigade that will say its all factory fatigue and that others will smell you. Well...I want to smell it.....i wear frags for my own nasal pleasure
My all time favorite since 1988. Nothing come close. Current version is still ok, just need to over spray. Just ordered Amouage Portrayal, have heard that is similar . Also love Aqua Fahrenheit, Absolute and Le Parfum. Best wishes Pep.
I have always skirted Fahrenheit as a fb purchase. I was attracted by the Parfum version still - always seem to love the parfum concentrations. But i also love the cologne version. All in all a bloody great line.
Great take on a classic fragrance. I am eventually going to pull the trigger and get the current formulation. Less performance than older formulations will at least make it more wearable.
We used to have a miniature citrus clementine tree, when it was in bloom the scent from its flowers were 100% Fahrenheit, has anyone else had this experience?
I am not sure if it is deliberate on your part, but I appreciate your channel reviewing current formulations of fragrances. I am new to the fragrance game, and it is helpful to hear someone's take on a classic fragrance's more recent formulation. That is the one I am most likely to purchase, after all. Solid review of Dior Fahrenheit. Keep up the great work!
I had a vintage bottle (19990 batch). I actually prefer the newer version. Yes it is a bit “watered down” but its not as “dirty” like the vintage bottle (...probably from real oak moss??) I sold the vintage bottle a few months ago for a great price haha
I had a bottle of Fahrenheit back in 2008. It was my second bottle after Hugo by Hugo Boss. I went through half the bottle before I realized it wasn't for me. I should probably get my nose on it again, not that I know a little more, just to see if my opinion has changed since then.
May i ask what year your bottle is? Im concerned on performance . im debating getting this and i know its no longer super strong but i dont want something totally watered down. Ive smelled it a few years ago in the store when i was new to fragrances and i was blown away to say the least. Thanks
I own a bottle of Fahrenheit EDP and people say that it does have a floral note to it, surprisingly I don’t smell it. By the way have you smelled the 2018 version ? I have the 2018 version.
@@TheScentinel I am a little surprised in your video you said you did not like the ParfumVersion in terms.of.potency and projection the Parfum version is a Monster is a Beast compared to the EDT it is a perfume bomb !! Literally can nuke people in the vicinity !!

I will, thanks

Wearing Fahrenheit continuously since I discovered it 1999. The current formulation has less of the burning gasoline smell which I think is good.

Fahrenheit factories are fatigued... Lol not trying to be a smart ass but its olfactory fatigue

I still love Fahrenheit after all these years..I've got a bottle which was given to me at Christmas....Great review Pep keep up the good work..

maybe fahrenheit was inspired by that tree? i really detect a citrusy in a good soft way, not that sharp synthetic from other brands

Mine is 2015
It is true they changed the formula
I believe that this has been changed a few times at least, here is something related...

New music plz
The music distracts me from your words, keep losibg track of what u say! 😔
Is it too loud?
@@TheScentinel too much going on for background music. If that makes sense?
I didn't try it...but wonder is edp and edt same smell or different...what do you say?
They are pretty different. Not just a difference of concentration of the same scent.
This stuff stinks very badly! I have never smelled something so off putting.
I'm sorry
