This was amazing to follow. Granted, it did take 2 real life days to complete. All in survival, so I changed the lecturns for wooden fences. Still has that depth look to it. Thanks for a great, easy to follow tutorial 👍

Absolutely beautiful house, planning to keep this design for any future games I play. Had to make a few edits since some of these things aren't easy to get in survival when your plan is to build your house before fully exploring all Minecraft has

I'm gonna be building this once I get all of the materials needed but I'm contemplating using terracotta in place of the oak planks and then using oak for the spruce since there is no spruce in sight at all for my survival world

I recently built this in my survival world. The front is cute but overall not a great house. I had high expectations but was very disappointed. Every side but the front is flat and boring. I had to improvise and add changes myself. The proportions are not good as it is very wide but has no depth. There were multiple mistakes with the amount of materials needed which was inconvenient as I was building it in survival. I find it wastes lots of wood that you could substitute for planks or cobble and it would still look good. I also think that this house does not fit the title of 'survival house'. The design does not make good use of all the materials, lots of stone and wood that is placed ends up completely out of sight which I consider wasteful. The birds eye veiw layout in the beginning was helpful but adding measurements would have made it easier so the veiwer doesn't have to count each square themselves. I was very frustrated while building this. The idea is good but it needs some developing to really polish it and make it efficient for survival. Edit: The lecterns were very difficult to obtain in survival as well.

Im building this now, but I have to do a few changes, not only because Im in survival and cant get some stuff yet, but also my reasourse pack make things look very diffrent.
Its a very good house tho, Im half done and I have planted and harvest sooo many trees by now XD

I did this and expanded the back out into a bbq area and had paths leading to both front entrances
Built this in survival the tutorial is very easy to follow but MAAAAN did i strugle with the lecterns holy moly i had to start a sugercane farm and kill hunders of poor animals but it looks amazing the only thing i gotta say is make it survival friendly it was very hard to climb up and build in parts that are easy to reach in creative mode
try scaffolding [life saver]also put water EVERYWHERE! I built this and the water helped along with scaffold, if you don't have that then get a lot of dirt and make some ladders super easy to break when done😁
Holy shit i never thought about using water and scaffolding thank you so much @eafield4728 I just used ladders I fell so much I used up like a stack of different foods to heal myself and broke my diamond shoes 😢 and also what I meant by survival friendly is he would build something and then destroy it to place something else there
@Dr.Kutomon oooh I gotcha, yeah that part was slightly annoying, anyway always glad to help, sorry you broke your boots,but you can also make a viligar breeder make lots of fletchers sell sticks to them then get the guy that sells armor level him up amd he sells dimond armor sets👍 it's a bit of a process to level them up but once they are you're set for minecraft life😁
@eafield4728 we have a no lifer on the server who just mines.. but villager breeding sounds a lot better

I suggest yall if you want to build this and worried about lightning, either replace all of the roof with stone or any unflammable blocks or place lightning rods on your house, you can do both and yet they'll look nice 👍
I mean, i like it a lot i built this in survival but while i was building there wasnt really a lot of space.. and the materials were hard to get like the plant pots and the lanterns its a nice house could use some more depth though

spruce is pretty good if you need a dark wood, and putting four saplings in a small square◾️ gives you a HUDGE spruce tree that usually ends up to be 64 blocks of wood and some 😁
easy tip ---> spiral up the tree like stairs, it makes it a lot faster to chop down the trees😁
