I'm planning a trip to Japan in the fall. Then off to the Netherlands. Singapore Airlines is a good option I'm considering. With a long layover, this would be like a mini vacation on the way. I stayed at Yotel Airside in Istanbul Airport during a 10 hour layover to South Africa. It was a bit pricey but worth every dollar.

It is a good option. Even with the cost of the transit hotel, you can save alot going on an indirect flight.
Singapore Changi Airport is one of the best in the world so plenty to see there and some good food options.
I think I had the hotel room for 8 hours but had a 12 over layover so had another 4 hours roaming around the airport. It is definitely nice to have a bit of a sleep and more importantly shower and change of clothes before the next flight

Awesum i m going with my toddler in october amd have a stay of 10.30hrs n booked this hotel.... after watchin ur video i hv piece of mind that i booked the right hotel.. thankyou👍🏻👌🏻

Yep 10.30 hours in any port is too much, especially with a toddler. Enjoy the hotel!

Hi! I will be traveling with my kids in 2019, and I booked this hotel. I have a question with regards to checked in luggage. Do we have to pick it up and bring it with us to the hotel or does the airline bring it onto the next connecting flight?

You will need to collect your luggage from your flight and take it to the transit hotel.

I think you need to check with your airline.
if you are flying into Singapore and out on the same airline, they should allow you to check your luggage through to you final destination.
This all depends on when you check in for your first flight.
Check with the airline if they can check it through to your final destination.
If you cannot, then you will need to collect your luggage and take it with you to the transit hotel and then you need to check your luggage in for the next flight.

Yes, it is. It is fully airconditioned so you can turn down to be as cold as you like

Yes like most hotels you can store your luggage at the hotel after you have checked out. Roam around the airport and then collect your luggage before your flight
