  • I guess you could call me a fan of Edelkrone products. So but thats only because my Edelkrone SliderONE and HeadONE work so well. SO when I found the JibONE available secondhand at far less than a new JibONE I took the leap and am glad I did.

    Nice new toy John! I saw the knife video and thought you must have your wife on the camera for the motion shot. Now this explains all. 👍

    You are just full of surprises, John---and thrifty. Who else makes a video of making a video. I love it! I just purchased a tripod so I could make a little video of my first session using my newly built treadle hammer. I'm happy that you are having a busy and fun-filled "retirement".

    Wow! I really think that the JibOne is going to bring video's to the next level. It's obvious you have a passion for the filming but I also think it is really going to boost your subscriber base at the same time. Your video's are already really good This is just going to make them better. Congratulations John!

      Certainly not a required piece of gear, but adds some interest which make the videos more fun to make as well.

    Started thinking we could speed up that jib crane and use it to swing a hammer. But like most of my ideas I was forced to realize that was foolishness. But I’m still interest in it for the possibility of attaching a fan. Getting hot 🥵 in Houston for blacksmithing.

    I am wondering how long it would be before I could crash or break that Jibone lol course the camera would already be broken before hand .. I see some fun video shots coming :}

      That can be a real problem in the shop.

    You can fix the exposure inside premiere. If you need help with it send me an email and I can walk you through it :)

      Adjust, yes. Fix? maybe not. Did you watch the edited portion that was adjusted? of course part of the problem is that once I make any color adjustments my system starts having serious playback issues and is more likely to crash.

      John Switzer I did, and you may need to layer your adjustments. (Do the first adjustment, then a second, then maybe a third to get it to where you want) only drawback is that can sometimes make an image graney. I would look at the exposure setting, and the white balance. You can also play with brightness and contrast. And as a last result add a blue filter to the image. If you would like to send me a small clip I can run it through my software and give you the settings I would use to see if I can make it better/different. Or you may have already done all this and it’s as good as it can be :)

    have you ever experienced jitter or extreme shaking with your jibone? I purchased the jibone + Head Pro + Pan Pro - spent $2700 and the device is jittery. the footage is unusable and I need to get in contact with them because at this point I just have a $2700 hunk of metal that angers me everytime I look at it.

      I haven't had any issues. I do seem to recall someones TH-cam video talking about fine adjustments.

    Where did you pick this up used?

    • @JohnSwitzer
      @JohnSwitzer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it was B&H photo. Although to be honest I haven't used it it over a year and may end up selling it.

    Where’d you find a used one?!

    • @JohnSwitzer
      @JohnSwitzer  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      This one was from B&H photo. But most big camera shops have a used department.
