Now, it seems ridiculous for someone not to know what “Friends” is, but in 1996, the show was only in it’s second season.
OR … it could just be Gwyneth - the woman who forgot that she was in “Spiderman: Homecoming” - being Gwyneth.
Or, it could be she was being facetious/sarcastic.
Paltrow was literally promoting a movie she just shot with David Schwimmer. Friends was already colossal in '96. People in the depths of the Amazon rainforest were talking about it...

I liked the character and movie "Interview With A Vampire " with Brad, Tom and Antonio in it. Sure the book was better...but it's just the differences between the literary and movie versions that are always going to be there.

When she said she recited a monologue when she was 3 was pretty funny and ridiculous. I mean, she is talented but not a freakin genius for god's sakes. Also, the way she asked what Friends is, like she is above the "mainstream"? This was classic Gwyneth when she was an insufferable ass.
