- The Corolla E70 was the fourth generation of cars sold by Toyota under the Corolla nameplate.
The fourth-generation model was released in March 1979 in Japan, and was the last generation to have the entire lineup in rear-wheel-drive configuration. Export sales commenced in August 1979.[4] Although most of the fourth generation was replaced by 1984, the station wagon and van versions were offered into late 1987. In 1980 Corolla daily production reached an all-time high, averaging 2,346 units. The one-millionth Corolla was a 70-series, built in February 1983. A limited "One Million Edition" was released in Japan at this time.

زبردست! دیکھ کر بہت مزہ آیا، ہوسکے تو اسلام آباد آٹو شو پر ضرور لانا۔ پنڈی میں یہ گاڑیاں بہت ہیں لیکن اس حالت میں نہ ہونے کے برابر۔ یا تو بالکل پھٹیچر تباہ حال یا پھر ڈرفٹنگ اور ریسنگ کیلئے تیار کی ہوئی ملتی ہیں۔ ایسی جینوئن حالت کی کرولا 80 - 82 اسلام آباد میں بھی بہت کم ہیں۔
Beautifully restored vehicle. The owner is a genuine car guy. He knows about his ride very well. I wish him many many miles behind the wheel of this car. Well done!

What a beautiful restoration of Corolla 80. I had same model in England in yellow colour. I drove it 2 Lakh miles with out any problem. Good old days of my youth time.
I still love this car but unfortunately, it’s not possible to maintain such old cars in England.
I really enjoyed watching it.

As for buying genuine parts vs after market, as long as high quality OEM parts are used, regardless of where they are manufactured are good.

My father bought 82 corolla car in early 2000s it was GL with power steering ttc engine just 65k driven brand new car. Use to give us 16 kmpl some great memories with tht car.
